Operation Sindoor and Aftermath

Mail-SPL-468-X60-2x
I think India should consider acquiring the F-35 if push comes to shove, as there may be no viable alternative until the AMCA becomes operational.

If that happens (a big IF given we use the s-400), we are not getting any deliveries before early 2030s. The order book for the F35 has a massive backlog.

We will have to throw billions to have a hope of climbing up the priority list for deliveries(very unlikely).

We are basically out of options.

Pak almost confirmed to get J35.

While we wait 15 years for our 5th gen, thanks to our politicians.

The decades long capability gap will be closed and turned around to favour them.

How did the absolute cretins ruling our country did not see this coming a decade ago, when qe could have done something about it?

Now what are our options? F-35 is not a possibility and even if it was, the long backlog means we are not getting hands on one till the early 2030s.

Even the Su 57 will take years to be delivered, while the c***s are getting theirs in 2 years given China's capabilities.

Paki scum will be emboldened to make forays near/ inside our air space and bomb key military and civilian infra without anything to deter them, after spamming our AD with drones for days to overwhelm them.

No More Sindoor type destruction will be possible as the Pakis will not restrict themselves to firing BVRAMs from max range.

The dirty c*** will go for it as they will see our fighters much before we see them and they already have a BVRAAM edge anyway.

This country needs to be under an authoritarian goverment unbound by political bs for a decade or two to come out of this rut.

Do what needs to be done on an EMERGENCY basis, even if it means using 10% or more of our GDP to close the gap.

If we cannot do 5th gen in 10 years, at least we need to overwhelm Paki scum in the numbers game. When you don't have the tech advantage, sheer numbers always help even if we take losses.

If nothing else works , we need to double or triple our nuke warheads and trash our no first use policy to create a new level of deterrence for both Paki and Chini scum.
This is an obvious paki or chang bot.

Look at his posts lol

Park the j35 in this hangar and guard it with hq CHING CHONNNGGG

Do some imagination on "our option"

Some people are emotional about us developing jets inhouse. While that's a great ambition, we are a decade late at the least.

We need to think ruthlessly what can give us stop gap capability while we develop AMCA. Unless we think drones and missiles can be a substitute, we have only one option.

Here's a nice video from China Observer who has turned out to be more jingo than all of here combined.

This video must be watched by all the Bhosdapillers, 50cent, wumao, Paki inbreds lurking here.

The utter humiliation of Pakis and Chinis is something that hasn't even dawned on most Indians who are busy debating about Rafale jets and shit. The reality will dawn eventually on everybody. It's a decisive military victory. The end. Period.

This is the most comprehensive summary of Operation Sindhoor. It is sad that, it came from Taiwan instead of India. Therein lies the problem -- why any of the Indian news channels could not come up with a similar report?

As a side note, this explains why Pakistan went to USA crying for help instead of China.

Is China giving it to them for free? J35 is an untested aircraft and built off of stolen blueprints. Plus J35 cannot stop BrahMos. And PAF cannot move its airbases. J35s will be taken out before they fly even. RUDRAM will take out their AWACS blinding them. The reality is PAF has realized that nothing is safe in Pakistan from BrahMos attacks. Unless they have invisible cloaking tech, all assets are destroyable by Indian military from a stand-off distance. So, relax. Unless they build their economy and become prosperous they cannot take on India.

If he chooses not to, then it isn't India's loss but QUAD's loss

Quad is just chain samosa meetings. Nothing substantial has ever come out of it.

If quad meant something to the burgermunchers, they would not ungli us wrt Porkies.

I am beginning to think we actually hit some American asset in Porkland and that rattled them.

They will slowdown the GE414 negotiations and further weapon sale to us. We should read the writing on the wall and adjust our plans accordingly.

Some of the claims are questionable but what Indian news channels and defense affairs need to understand here is how the information is compiled and presented. It flows like a comprehensive story with main points emphasized repeatedly. The “why something happened “ is anticipated and succinctly explained. This is why western communications are powerful - they can convince people that alien UFO were flying when the reality was Pentagon was just doing advanced weapons testing.
One of the issues we have is in schools we are not taught how to say things clearly, powerfully and to the point. We tend to ramble on and bring unnecessary details without thinking about whether it is suitable for the audience. We forget that people have a maximum 10 minute attention span and you’d have to capture their imagination within that time. Our podcasts are way too long and full of useless content.
We really need to teach our people at all levels of society how to communicate powerfully with confidence and clarity. We need to start with the IFS, Military genrols, and key government babus. Never mumble in interviews. It is taken as hiding something.

There are several angry scientists in America whose visas have been denied. Think big. Think how we can bring them to India for R&D. These are top grade people in their respective fields. Is the GoI even watching such development?

"According to people familiar with the matter and on the basis of action taken reports and damage assessment undertaken by the three services, there is digital evidence to conclude that the Indian Air Force (IAF) fighters, surface-to-air missile batteries and S-400 air defence system downed four Pakistani Chinese-made fighter jets and two big aircraft (possibly one C-130 J and one SAAB 2000 airborne early warning system) during Operation Sindoor. There are also indications, the people added, that two F-16 fighter aircraft may have been partly damaged during the IAF’s missile assault on 11 airbases, including those at Sargodha, Rafiqui, Jacobabad and Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi). The reports indicate that India’s Rafale fighters, S-400 missile systems and M777 howitzers acquitted themselves well during the four-day conflict with the Russian air defence system taking three enemy aircraft."

"They also show that India destroyed one Chinese LY-80 fire radar, two AN TPQ-43 US-made automatic tracking radar and one fire unit of Chinese HQ-9 radar at Chaklala during the retaliatory strike on May 10. Intelligence inputs now suggest that Pakistan has four HQ-9 (the Chinese equivalent of the Russian S-300 air defence radars) instead of two originally estimated by national security planners. The Pakistani military used the Chinese version of PL -15 air to air missile which has a range of 180 km.There are also inputs that the Pakistanis, by mixing two fire units of 250-km range HQ 9 air defence system with two other 150-km range systems at Chaklala and Malir cantonment near Karachi, respectively, may have tried to catch the Indian Air Force by surprise."

"The Action Taken Reports also show that IAF fired 19 BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles on Pakistan air bases and almost an equal number of French SCALP subsonic cruise missiles. The Pakistanis, in turn, fired CM-400 AKG air-launched supersonic missiles at Indian air bases using Chinese JF-17 fighters but these failed to do any damage. The Turkish built YIHA loitering ammunition that Pakistanis fired in large numbers were either jammed by the Indian electronic warfare suite, missed their targets, or were taken down by India’s robust air defence system. Even the FATAH-1 rockets fired by Pakistan were either off the mark or were intercepted by the Indian air defence systems."

"The Indian Air Force and Indian Navy used Israeli loitering ammunition to destroy terror camps in Occupied Kashmir on May 7."

Looks like the loss of possibly an aircraft or two due to unexpected ambush by the jazbaati air farce lit a fired under IAF’s “gentleman” ROEs and made them go in for the kill. That was that and Porkis folded promptly as their Chinese maal and western maal did not work together , and all their radars were jammed leading to all air bases being rendered inoperable. Good that we anticipated and had a backup plan should the jazbaati Air Farce try to show off and take a PR win. It was stupid of IAF to keep believing that Jazbaati Air Farce will play by the rules. Hope they learnt a lesson.

Visas denied to US scientists?

We should offer them the world if required. The US took Nazi scientists out of Germany after WWII. Without them there would be no US space program.

GOI is watching nothing
Not using opportunities that could change the future of our coming generations

I could be wrong but I doubt that India hit any American assets in Pakistan during India's military strikes on Pakistan. The displeasure of the US is multifold:

a. India hit Pakistanese nuclear facilities. Keep in mind Pakistan's nuclear weapons are USA's favorite scarecrows against India.

b. India successfully tested Chinese electronic war fighting capabilities and cornered Pakistan decisively.

Operation Sindhoor completely upset the apple cart.

Yes. Several top scientists are leaving US to return to Europe and other origin countries due to arbitrary visa denials, eliminating research budget, firing staff directing these programs and so on. American R&D is in an absolute mess with failing supply chains due to tariff wars. Build proper urban areas with world class infrastructure and bring global scientists to come live and work there. India’s scientific output will grow several fold. Be like Israel. Get aggressive on technology R&D.

Not directly but collateral damage from bombing hangars and other buildings could have caused damage to F-16s. There is no record of damaged F-16s being recorded on F-16.net though. So I doubt any damage to F-16s. Look like unkil killed the ability of PAF F-16s to be flown against India after India’s complaint during Balakot.
