Dialogue is fine. They need to really up the game when it comes diplomacy. First they should increase the number of MEA staffs. It severely understaffed. Look at the Chinese how many folks they have in their embassies. Also they do everything to prop up lobbies. I know we also have been building think tanks in both Europe and US under Modi. willing to have peace and showing white flag are two different things, after effective sead ops and missile strikes on important paf bases india had the upperhand. i personally think we stopped due to this iran issue and things will start again.

India actually needed only one thing from a US President. It is for him to ease the pressure of USAID and NGOs. Mr. Trump has been good on this regard as against Biden. So, If we look from internal security perspective he has been beneficial to us. His crusade against woke ecosystem have been in this regard beneficial to us as now, new Satrangi revolutions are not getting funded as deeply as in past.
On external security perspective, I think he is being much more assertive and impatient. He wants us to open the market more and integrate with US even more. He is forcing our hand by pampering our hostile neighbors. But i don't find it unusual. Both piggie lands have strategic and military value for them. So, they will ofcourse use them to build leverage on us. Biden was already doing it. So nothing new in this side also.

My biggest worry is that China will have Pakistan test their weapons. They are obviously not entering any conflict directly but could keep drip-feeding equipment to Pakistan who will test it on us. This is very bad as till now their weapons were not battle tested. This process will never change the strategic calculus. We will always be stronger for the foreseeable future vis-à-vis Pakistan but they now might have something to test their weapons out. In such a case we win every tactical engagement like sindoor but then end up losing 2-3 airframes and the Chinese will now have battle intelligence.
