So this is the end of it then. Anti-climatic but not entirely unexpected. In his address, Shehbaz said Pakistan won the war
They'll follow the ceasefire, so nothing was violated.
If I'm being rational here, this is more than what I expected our men and government to do immediately after the Pahalgam massacre on 22nd April. Might sound like copium but aside from 1971, not once in 54 years would any Indian have thought that missile striking Paki air force bases that too in broad daylight would've been possible. It's all thanks to the great people in DRDO and their relentless hard work despite frustrations from the babudom and Chandigarh lobby that this was possible. I could not be any more proud of them, the pride of the nation they certainly are. Then there's also the increasing involvement of private sector defense companies. This is an excellent development too.
I don't want to speculate if the stories of the beheadings are true or not but it is indeed a fact that many people have died on our side since May 7th due to shelling and not just the "incident". My condolences to their family members and I shall pray for their souls to attain Moksha.
As far as Pakis declaring victory goes... Only Pakis are the bumpkins who can claim victory after having their air force bases bombed in broad daylight with satellite images to prove it. The speculated downing of the Rafale is quite literally nothing compared to the level of escalation they've been unable to match. Mind you, we've struck as far back as Sargodha (confirmed) and maybe even Peshawar (unconfirmed), even left a runway inoperable for a whole week. We've actively demonstrated that we can have the whole Paki air force fleet grounded if we so wished.
If the Paki exclaims muh Rafale! Just respond with an "Did that stop the missiles?"
