Pahalgam Islamic Terror Attack

tried it, won't work. some people abuse no matter how much information is provided.
@Magadha Naresh

Why don't you take the initiative ? As a civil services aspirant you must be farely well acquainted with these matters as these form part of your curricula . We can chip in with guidance & advice if needed.

I used to think that way too but what will it achieve. We had it post balakot. We will 10 of theirs they deny and then after few days will say 1 died. We will have our soldiers too who will die. So why should they die just for some ego without any concrete gain. If we can take strategic posts or target major military installations including some brigadier once it's will send msg sure they will do retaliation and we will again do it will go for some days.
Its not about ego. Wars should not be thought on the basis of ego or pride. Does it even matter if they acknowledge the casuality or not? It doesn't. We inflict the casuality. They will have to replace that guy with someone from uniform again. How many can they replace if we continue this slow simmer for say 3 or 4 years. We have the material and human advantage. We don't loose much if we can limit the engagement in some 20-30KM zone. But they do. So a low intensity but a prolonged conflict is in our interest. A short but intense conflict will surely cause some good harm but still we will come over top on pakistan. I prefer long term but low intensity conflict where we slowly tighten the noose our pakistan military establishment.

we can't even ban these guys from media and people think we are capable of responding harshly.
Actually, there was some unwritten code, among even the terrorists, that you don't attack popular tourist sites like Pahalgam and Gulmarg. Largely no doubt because it brought in revenue to the Kashmiris, some of whom would have used those gains for separatist/terrorist activity.

Now, even that restriction has gone. Any Indian anywhere in Kashmir is a legit target, particularly if he( she) is a Hindu.

We have few in construction and one just finished construction over Ravi river.

ravi water is not fully diverted , ujh one of the tributaries is flowing uninterruptd.

nevermind that ravi waters is 100% ours under treaty.

anyone know about other rivers , how much can be diverted away from pakistan .

So...
Ban Chinese apps 2.0

All of these can be reversed the term someone else comes into power.

Scrap IWT, keep IWT, Pakistan will still get the same water for decades.

Most non-retaliation ever.
Technically everything in the constitution is reversible. Because constitution is cast in paper not in stone. As far as someone else coming to power goes, it's upto the intellect of the citizens then, not too elect such people in power ever in future

I dont see this happening. They would be walking right into a well prepared and fortified adversary.

Read along with the MEA communique this is a very important observation. It could also be that this is the extent of our response , something I don't endorse . Once again early days yet as GoI may still decide on kinetic retaliation , but by keeping the IWT in abeyance , GoI has put the ball in Paxtan's or more precisely in Fauji Foundation's court.

What this means is we're no longer going to consult either them or WB from now on whenever we plan & execute dams or barrages across the entire Indus Water system .

This is going to put added pressure on water resources in Paxtan. As it is a storm is brewing in Sind over the Cholistan Canal Project which purportedly seeks to divert waters from Sind into a contract farming project run by Fauji Foundation running into lakhs of hectares.

Alhamdulillah !
