The IAF is reportedly preparing to leverage its advantage in "first look, first shot, first kill" capabilities against the PAF, particularly by utilizing platforms like the AWACS and other advanced aircraft to cripple the PAF's battle management network. This strategy aims to reduce PAF's air defense capabilities and allow for deeper IAF strikes, potentially forcing Pakistan into a defensive posture.

Here's a more detailed look:
  • First Look, First Shot, First Kill:
This refers to the ability of an aircraft to detect, target, and destroy an enemy aircraft before the enemy even has a chance to react.

  • IAF's Approach:
The IAF is reportedly planning to use platforms like the AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) and other advanced aircraft to disrupt the PAF's ability to detect and track aircraft.

  • Targeting PAF's Battle Management Network:
By neutralizing the PAF's AWACS and other radar systems, the IAF aims to reduce the effectiveness of the PAF's air defenses.

  • Enabling Deeper Strikes:
With the PAF's radar coverage weakened, the IAF could penetrate deeper into Pakistan's airspace to attack high-value targets with lower risk of interception.

  • Forcing a Defensive Posture:
This strategy could force the PAF to reconfigure its defenses, pull back assets, and divert resources from offensive planning.

  • Examples of "First Look, First Kill" Technologies:
Some examples of technologies that enable "first look, first shot, first kill" include advanced radars, long-range air-to-air missiles, and stealth technology.

  • IAF's Modernization Efforts:
The IAF is also investing in advanced fighter jets and weaponry, including the Tejas Mk1A and Rafale, to enhance its capabilities.

  • Focus on Air Superiority:
The IAF's doctrine emphasizes air superiority and the ability to dominate the skies, allowing for the effective projection of power and the disruption of enemy operations.

I don't know how many here have the knowledge & IQ to grasp this... celebratory moment indeed.

There was a RFI 3 yrs ago to acquire 24 of these GNSS jammers. When did contract & induction happen? Surprising.

Yes contract was signed in 2023 for 2 himshakti systems for indian army.. delivery was to be completed in 2 years.

Its an all encompassing EW system that will disrupt GPS nd beidou signal affecting the paxtani PGMs guidance.

Iaf attack from India
In with ac s attack s from sea
Some iaf jets attack from afganistan
Paf will be kicked out from the air within 2-3 hrs of battle

Just don't use outdated callsigns like Alpha, Bravo, Charlie like a bunch of noobs. Thats what they did last time and so did the porkis, they ended up confused who's calling who. Smh.

Samyukta EW system can already jam GNSS signals. That's what we'll be using in plains. Himshakti EW was for mountain frmns.

Does the fact that PM today formally gave free hand to Generals today mean that
- They would come back with proposal tomorrow
- CCS is meeting tomorrow & it approves the proposal
- Formal declaration happens after CCS?

i wonder in fullscale war will we see national emergency to be invoked to control the half front enemies with brutal police forces here

Samyukta is bit older with more vehicles per unit.. Action will take place in POK nd J&K so more likely Himshakti will be doing more damage while disrupting guidance of PGMs employed by paxtan..

Both side will avoid attacking targets beyond Pok .. however we can do while targeting terrorist camp..
