I think 5 months would be too late(?)
But if India can obtain sufficient evidence, then there is no time limit and India can indeed wait for winters to strike.
The evidence will be like a carte blanche to hit Pakis whenever we want, with global support.

POK is not Bangladesh. Almost three fourth of it would be covered by snow from mid November onwards... which makes it invasion proof.

No one on the entire globe gives a damn about any evidence we present.

It's the last opportunity for GOI & BJP to realize their mistake of not heavily funding the armed forces. Our army & IAF are rotting.

Attack happened bcoz our conventional edge was allowed to erode... this is an important reason behind every terror attack

We are fast becoming a global laughing stock... Our citizens are butchered on our land... the adversary does mass mobilization... and we are in perpetual "time and place of choosing" mode.

No one is openly supporting our stand bcoz our leader used to preach "yudh nahi, buddh" & "not an era of war".

I don't think territorial advances will spark a protracted war, their credit line doesn't stretch long enough to support a forever conflict like in Ukraine, only economic shocks.

The last thing chicoms want is an Indian Army that's perfecting itself in mountain warfare with each passing day with a 900 million+ military-age population in tow. Our state-capacity is double that of Russia, and the potential for India to be a headache in the region is far too high.

India very much does have the window to inflict territorial losses on pakis, and get away with it.

There are a few major differences between Ukraine and pakistan.

Unlike Ukraine pakistan has no width or as they like to call it strategic depth. This means that most if not all of their critical assets are always within our reach but that is minor issue compared to what pakistan does not have.

Geography.

95% of pakistans external trade falls under the seaborne category this includes both imports and exports. pakistan has 4 neighbours India China Afghanistan and Iran.

Out of this one India is openly hostile meaning no trade between us. Afghanistan is bankrupt with no industrial economy to sell something worthy in a conflict. Iran is sanctioned by the Americans with its own reeling economy and frosty relations overall meaning little to negligible trade between them. This leaves china who as much as they want to help cannot if India bombs the few passes that connect these countries on day 1.

So it is extremely feasible to bring down pakistans entire economy and industry to a halt in a single month through a successful sea blockade. Seaborne trade is their lifeline and also their nas as they like to call it.

Unlike ukraine they have no n number of land borders than can supply them with everything they need round the clock. A sea blockade will he their end they know it.

Pakistan is moving everything everywhere...
The way we are stopping the water , if they attack us first are we prepared....I am talking about ground invasion
Hope we are prepared, we also have done ....

While there's nothing to disagree with your sentiment, but it's important to understand that without the global support India cannot inflict any significant economic damage to Pakistan.
The world does not revolve around India and there are other countries who have their own vested interest in keeping Pakistan afloat. This vested interest can only be dwarfed, when they are provided with evidence of the terrorist attacks originating from Pakistan.
They may be sympathetic to India at face, but when discussions start on sanctions, holding up loans etc, they will always ask for proofs.
Proofs are not required for a military action, but they will be required in multilateral institutions to build support for our cause.
If a country like US supports us, it's a different case altogether but US will also want to hedge instead of supporting us, or demand something in exchange.

Hell no we buy palm oil from Nepal and Nepal buys from Malaysia and exports to India. Anything happened is the price of palm oil shot up. It’s the same situation how porks buys our products through UAE.

They can't invade.

Any incursion will be met with the missile strike.
