Yea that's active cool scramjet tech
The one which was tested 1000 seconds
Due to the temperature being higher for even super alloys, they're susceptible to creep failure

This is a graph for creep failure,in primary i.e stage 1 due to strain hardening the slope decreases with time
In secondary stage the curve is almost linear because the effect of heating and strain hardening is counterbalanced and in stage 3 heating effect dominates strain hardening due to which heating penetrates internal structure of the material therefore softening the material causing rupture.
The main problem with creep is even if you keep the load and temperature constant the strain increases which is problematic at very high temperature

India has reportedly tested a new hypersonic missile that can travel at eight times the speed of sound and strike targets as far as 1,500 kilometres away. The Extended Trajectory Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile (ET-LDHCM), developed under the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Project Vishnu, significantly outpaces and outdistances the current BrahMos cruise missile.

Hope it's not hoax, as it is secretive presumably, will delete this later.
Hypersonic are closely monitored by US and China. if India tested and did not tell... an alarm would be sounded by other 2.

Hypersonic tech is good for stationary targets ... anything at that speeds , you have the plasma layer building up jsut does not allow movement correction .

No no.
Its complicated, plasma doesn't completely block, it makes it harder/tricky to do, reduces the effective range in some cases etc.

For example LRASHM doing prototype trails, has minimum speed of Mach 6+, it has a seeker and is anti ship.
Though again its a large missile with most likely a large seeker, could even beyond high bandwidth seeker like ones operating in ku or ka band like air to air missile seekers do.

Inaccurate…

plasma used to block navigational or comm sensors/links a decade ago nowadays navigation and sensors/links has become much studier during plasma or high heat due to friction scenarios.

It doesn’t make a hypersonic cruise/glide vehicle less manoeuvrable.

Both supersonic and hypersonic missiles can lock, manoeuver and target a moving target..

All ur assertion are wrong

i have not heard anything about monitoring hypersonic missiles?? How exactly is this possible??
Russia and Iran developed atleast a dozen hypersonic missiles in secret.
