Russian Ukrainian War

Funny, but after I took a look the only search results I got about 2.7, was the explosion on the Richter scale that happened in Toropets.
You are not searching well.

Here people find various irrelevant nonsense - about Zaluzhny, about "Azov". But they keep silent about the relevant - about how Germany recently transferred 400 million dollars and weapons and how the US announced a new aid package for 2.4 billion dollars.

I already said: AGM-154 (JSOW) with our jet engine will be coming soon.
Our 400mm missiles (250 km) for M142/270 are not listed here yet.

It looks like the Europeans are taking a more independent approach to supporting Ukraine. I like the efforts to support Ukraine to be divorced from (in my view) the American vision of the Ukraine war being a means to weaken Russia in some superpower versus superpower proxy contest.

Next I would like the French to authorise Ukraine use of Scalp to strike wherever it chooses, whether in Ukraine or Russia. You never know, US's lackey Britain might then dare to do the same. I like the idea of Britain deciding how its Storm Shadow missiles are used, not the US!

Good thinking, but unfortunately Storm shadow uses components procured from US, thus it needs US approval for export and, in this case, striking inside the heart of Russia.

True. A substantial amount of F-35 is built in Britain by BAE Systems. I guess that means the UK can equally dictate how it is used by the USAF.

Not dictate use by USAF, but I'd imagine UK could theoretically stop export of key F35 parts to halt a potential sale of F35 by USA, or its terms of sale.

Footage of the strike by the Russian kamikaze drone "Lancet-51" on the Ukrainian radar P-19 "Dunai" near Novoukrainka. The Soviet mobile two-coordinate radar P-19 was adopted into service in 1974 and is designed to detect airborne objects at a range of up to 160 kilometers and an altitude of up to 6,000 meters. As a result of the strike by the drone "Lancet", the radar P-19 was destroyed, the crew servicing the radar was not harmed.

Wow! You've posted the Kyiv independent's numbers at least 20 times. The numbers don't match, do they? For example the Kyiv ind. reports 18678 artillery systems losses, but you "new" source only reports 1860, did they forget to add a zero? Well since they reported a total of 14k armored vehicles and transports, and the Kyiv ind. reported 38k, I would say no. UAVs? Your new source 442, the Kyiv ind. 16031. That's over 30 times more, which is equal to 3000% more. Somebody's lying.
What a tedious livestock you are.
It also says: Visually confirmed, and you are quoting General Staff data. They have much more intelligence. Some of it may be wrong. For example: The antiaircrafter does not see his target only on the monitor. He launched an AD missile, but the Russian pilot did an anti-missile maneuver and disappeared from the radar screen. There is no target, the AD missile was launched and they record him as destroyed.
Sometimes it is the other way around, when they do not believe the battalion commander (so that he does not get extra money) and demand evidence. But there is none and there is no record of the destroyed target.

Very soon you will see visually confirmed surrender of all the soldiers in Ugledar. Zelensky used these men for political purposes only. I also heard they will retreat in Kursk. Now that Zelensky got more weapons he no longer needs Kursk. Political mission accomplished.

I heard something similar from you about New Jork two months ago, about Chasiv Yar since April. I already told you - you are a bad analyst. Have you ever seen a single encirclement, when the front line acquired a stable appearance? Both ours and the Russians retreat when there is a need for it.
As for the Kursk region, I don't think that the issue was about weapons. We don't know what this bridgehead is for. Maybe it is for an offensive on Belgorod or for the creation of an alternative Russia. Until elections are held in your country, nothing will change radically there.

I don't ever remember talking about the encirclement of either of those two towns. I did mention operational encirclement of towns like Avdiivka. But this time it seems different in Ugledar, the Russians are not going to let them escape. I also wanted to post this interesting piece of news.

"American assessment of the production of Russian versions of the Shahed-131/136 drones in the Alabuga SEZ was published by the American Institute for Science and International Security. The assessment is based, among other things, on openly published materials obtained allegedly during a data leak Based on a comparison of various data, the authors come to the conclusion that the actual achieved scale of production and use of the Geran family exceeds the planned indicators by almost a year.6,000 units were initially supposed to be produced and delivered by September 2025. But in fact, this volume was produced, delivered to the troops and used by the end of August 2024.Military Informant"

This topic was deleted in DFI, but even if it were there, I have no desire to look for your words. Although maybe it wasn't you. There is a lot of pro-Russian garbage here and they are happy to gloat. But I remember we argued about the spelling of the town of New Jork. Even many of our bloggers write New York, because they don't know the history of its creation, and in Russian and Ukrainian, York and Jork are written the same (Йорк).
By the way, what's going on with the Russian counter-offensive in the Kursk region, or are the residents of Tetkino and Glushkovo tired of waiting to return home?
So that you can search better.

I should've mentioned that the US and UK stockpiles of weapons are depleted. Ukraine won't be getting much in the near future, so the aid package won't stop the bleeding anytime soon. In the meantime Russia is producing massive amounts of weapons.

UK weapon stockpiles ‘threadbare’ after arming Ukraine

The West has depleted its supplies in the war effort and must develop a new strategy to keep equipment flowing, says the armed forces minister

Western allies have almost nothing left in their stockpiles to hand over to Ukraine after more than two and a half years of fighting, the armed forces minister has said.

Before crucial talks on the war at the United Nations headquarters in New York, Luke Pollard said the focus needed to be on ramping up weapons production between the West and Ukraine as part of a longer-term strategy that would keep a reliable supply of equipment heading to the country.

Speaking at a fringe event at the Labour conference, Pollard said: “I think most western nations have gifted most of the deployable resources they have … so we are seeing a greater trading relationship being formed.”

Indeed, due to the sharp reduction of armies after the Cold War, a number of countries are running out of reserves. For example, the UK sold its APCs to private companies, having previously removed their weapons. Therefore, all of our FV series APCs were either bought by civilian volunteers or bought back by the British government. There was even such a case: a Belgian company bought a decent number of Belgian M113s at the price of scrap metal. In 2022, the Belgian government wanted to buy them back, but the price turned out to be 10 times higher, so Britain bought them and handed them over to us.
Some countries were removed from the balance sheet and sent to storage. This is one of such storage bases in Italy.

Therefore, I have a hard time believing newspaper articles that the US has run out of weapons. There are fields of armored vehicles there. Some of the weapon groups could really have run out - for example, Stinger or Javelin. Until there is an official response, these articles have no legal force.

Episode of a recording of a Ukrainian soldier talking about the situation in the Kurakhovsky direction and a trip on a Ukrainian-made Kozak-7 armored vehicle. The group was hit by drones, the Kozak-7 armored vehicle was damaged, they tried to evacuate it at night using a BTS-4 tracked armored tractor, a Soviet-made vehicle developed in 1965. The soldier died in the Kurakhovsky direction during the assault. The General Staff of Ukraine called the Kurakhovsky direction the "hottest".

An episode of a battle in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region of Russia. The video shows an attack by FPV drones, models unknown, of the 106th Tula Airborne Division of Russia, on a column of the Ukrainian army. The column consists of an American-made Stryker armored personnel carrier, two BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles and a Soviet-made BREM-1 armored recovery vehicle. The mechanized unit of the Ukrainian army was moving towards the village of Vesyoloye. The video is shortened, the dead servicemen are cut out
