The only equality and fairness they will get, is the same equality and fairness Turkey shows to Iraq amongst their own Ulema brothers : water diplomacy.

This is pure dhandho. Us exporting eggs or other commodities & products boosts our income. Then banning exports to us be it of hilsa or anything else hurts them more.

We're playing the wait & watch game in the hope that once the initial euphoria of staging a successful revolution dries up they'd be better acquainted with ground realities & resume business as usual just like Maldives did.

Not really . Deobandis & Salafis are vehemently opposed to grave worshipping. It's for this reason people are physically restrained from paying obeisance or doing sajda at the graves of Mo , his wives , his descendants , those of the Sahaba & other revered people in Islam in KSA.

Ahl e Hadees , JeI , Jamiat e Ulema e Islam etc all emanations from this school of thought share a similar PoV. With money flowing from the Gulf Sheikhdoms to promote this ideology & a good number of malaun lungis either in the Gulf cleaning toilets or having returned from there also contributing to the spread of this ideology you're seeing a rapid rise in their numbers.
