firstly, folks who spend time on this topic are top 1% income group in India, which makes it a form of elitist gaslighting.Man, we can pat our backs as much. But we as Indians lack civic sense, have no sense of traffic rules and cleanliness. We are not way better than them in this regard. We may not be this bad but still we are shit compared to other western countries.
not going to happen, may be by 2047, that too a small probability depending on what type of gormints (centre&state&local) people elect in the future. and we will be too old to appreciate it by 2047.
how do we know it is not going to happen?
because tax collected(direct + indirect) per capita is around 2300 ₹ currently (per annum), which means vast majority of the indian population is still poor, that they don't have time to worry about civic sense.
ofcourse this discussion not pointless, but limit it to urban areas where upper middle class and rich people are concentrated as percentage of population locally.
