Which is not good for us as, Pakistan, being the eternal whore, will demand it's pay per hour rate.

If it is going in that direction, there will be pressure on us to "talk to Pakistan" with some crumbs thrown in our favor.

Hope we just resist all these.

It will be all fun and games untill everyone remembers that syria has chemical weapons that are now under no ones control. Turkey is gonna be taking a massive L. HTS are jihadis at their core.

Difficult to see anything good for us in this. Assad was a moderate compared to whatever coalition of forces that will replace him.

Turkey gains larger influence in this region, so will US. HTS aka ISIS by another name validates its capability to overthrow a regime backed by a conventional army, even if it was a weak army.

If they demonstrate some capacity for governance it is sure to lead to rekindling of caliphate dreams amongst the faithful.

That was the high point of US power..
I am not sure Israel will enjoy Turkish power on its border.. Assad was lately very pliable.. and hardly made a noise when Israel repeatedly bombed and assassinated Iranian officials in Syria

I doubt even in its primacy USA could do regime change in Iran.
And now with internal frictions between Democrats and New Republicans where most of so called elites from Deep State has contradictory interests when it comes to USA as a country they will be able to muster much.

Iran is getting technology infusion from China and Russia, Iran’s oil to flowing to China much cheaper than Russian oil to India.

Iran is pretty stable with its own proxies widespread in all of west asia also Pakistan if starts sunni proxies Iran carries much bigger stick inside pakistan.

These retards will have their hands full. With Syria gone in the next decade, you will most likely see the rise of a new AQ or AQ offshoot with global Jihad ambitions along with ISIS governing the country like Talibs in Afg. The Yazidis and Kurds will be in the firing line again while the world will remain silent.
Others like the Druze, Christians, Alawites will flee. Most likely the same route to Europe.
