Why such naive statements, very pa*eet esq statement. "Supporter", "Friend", "Best Friend", "pro-India" perhaps our vocabulary is lacking but these words were common with common people and youtube title. Why can't journlsist find a beter word to describes Waltzs attitude towards India?

Khalis will be strategically withdrawn now as they got really unpopular both in India and Canada with even Sikhs coming out against them in huge numbers.

However this NSA will probably mean bad news for the greens and Modi will have less political interference to deal with in pushing his agenda like Waqf , NRC etc.

Tarrifs are sure to come, but they won’t be as bad as against China and we will be forced to buy more US weapons as a bargain chip like to avoid CAATSA like stuff.

I would gladly trade a small dip in growth for sustained political stability.

Even better if Trump gets rid of useless orgs like USCIRF. Removing govt agencies are high on his radar.

If both these developments occur you're likely to see fireworks within the Trump administration & fire fighting on a daily basis .

It's going to be Musk on one side desperately trying to protect his investments which is frankly speaking at this point only buying time in the face of the inevitable , the inevitable being the total surrender of western EV OEMs in the face of the onslaught of Chinese EV OEMs in which Tesla would be a top casualty.

Either way Trump would have to take a call. IMO for whatever its worth , it'd be better if Trump didn't get Musk in his administration or any of his acolytes.

I think there are more posts to be filled and RFK will get the health department.

As for Vivek, best case is department of education (which will eventually be abolished if we go by Trump’s promise).
There are also rumors of him taking the place of JD Vance as Ohio Senator.

Even otherwise this was more than what he asked for, made a mark in primaries, he was early to drop out and endorse Trump and got a huge following throughout the campaign especially among the younger Republicans.
His target was never this election (although he will never become the Prez).

He was instrumental in kicking Ronna McDaniel out and also calling out the RINOs.

Coming to India, he hasn’t made his position clear but at least he called out the atrocities in Bangladesh, deftly handled those criticizing his Hindu faith on live Tv.

IMO he is far better than the original coolies like Premila/haley/Jindal types and he should be supported instead of criticized.

This might be a good appointment. Rubio is a very aggressive China Hawk. A lot of the anti china bills in the Congress are drafted by this guy. He might act as a good moderating influence against the pro China tendencies of Musk.
