I bet trump dumps Elon.
He won’t share the spotlight.
Trump will soon get tired of Elon and dump him in about two years.

Not going to happen. Elon funded PAC is going to funding the primaries in 2 years time and well into the future. So all American first candidates will be packing the congress.Trump will soon get tired of Elon and dump him in about two years.

He also has X and MSM influence is dead.
Elon's words I am paraphrasing, he will be your greatest friend but if you cross him he will be your worst enemy.
Can two egomaniacs coexist? We will find out. It is not difficult to see where @Blademaster is coming from - in Trump 1.0 there was a major shake up every other day. Do you remember his fallout with Rex Tillerson? Not going to happen. Elon funded PAC is going to funding the primaries in 2 years time and well into the future. All that you wrote works as long as there's internal cohesion & a national consensus. The latter may be hidden from the public eye & unspoken like the need to get out of Afghanistan for instance which enjoyed bipartisan support.
But the crux of my point is this internal competition is no longer within manageable levels . The society started tearing at its seams during Bush's regime. 9/11 interrupted things for a brief while after which it was biz as usual. All this wokery we're seeing was birthed then & under Obummer received a huge filip.
Then came Trump & things escalated to a whole new level . It's going to be MUCH more of the same this time around once his opponents recover their wits.
Rex Tillerson lol. No one liked him and he was a weak pick. Can two egomaniacs coexist? We will find out. It is not difficult to see where @Blademaster is coming from - in Trump 1.0 there was a major shake up every other day. Do you remember his fallout with Rex Tillerson?
If you're arguing about a BLM then I doubt there was anything on that scale in Bush's presidency. However the general trend was a kind of anti Republicanism we normally see from left liberals with the usual topics we're used to seeing today , the features of which you've listed , minus the amplification on SM - a feature absent then .9/11 happened 8 months into bush jr's presidency, what were the hot topics in those 8 months?
during his 8 year tenure a few major hot topics(protests) i could remember, apart from war related topics :
- abortion
- anti-war
- anti-racism (on behalf of brown skinned people/arabs)
- environmentalism
- controversial ballot counting
- cost of living (not a protest but general discontent)
all are libtard causes except the last one. libtards raise the anxieties of public when they are not in power, that's their default strategy.
before bush jr's tenure, hot topic was clinton-monika lewinsky scandal, based on news we were getting in our papers.
Rex Tillerson lol. No one liked him and he was a weak pick.
According to reports, in a July 20 meeting, Trump allegedly suggested a tenfold increase in the U.S. nuclear arsenal, which would cost trillions and take centuries–reports that were denied by White House officials and by Trump – after which individuals familiar with the meeting told journalists that Tillerson either called Trump a "moron" or a "fucking moron". Additionally, there were well-sourced reports of Tillerson offering to resign his office as secretary of state, only to be discouraged from doing so by Vice President Mike Pence; however, these were officially denied both by Tillerson and by the White House. Furthermore, on October 1, Trump directly contradicted, via Twitter, Tillerson's policy of negotiation with North Korea; this move was widely panned by experts, who thought such a public undermining of the U.S.'s chief diplomat would weaken his ability to negotiate. On October 10, after Tillerson's alleged "moron" comment was reported in the media, Trump challenged Tillerson to "IQ tests"; three days later Senator Bob Corker from Tennessee, the chair of the influential Senate Foreign Relations Committee who had become a vocal Trump critic around that time, remarked that Trump was "publicly castrating" Tillerson.
Elon Musk has F U money and F U influence, he has been idolized for decades in cartoons, movies, TV shows etc.
Hell even some democrat law maker in PA called him a tony stark like personality and cult, when the media was asking about his effect in state of PA.
Elmo went full pignat following the fall-out with his transgender daughter and has been like that ever since. He is looking to force his worldview on the masses ever since (as @SKC pointed out).
