World Military/Paramilitary/Special Forces

The only reason I could think of for an SMU to do crowd control is this. They knowingly brought Sim weapons as their purpose was intimidation. Not even 1% of the crowd would be able to figure out that the weapons had no live ammo in them.
Well protesters were still toying with them , trying to take thier counter wieght off and trying to snatch thier service rifle so intimidation didn't work out proper riot control gear would have worked better

that was indeed a spectacular failure.

There is conscription in south korea and airsoft larping as some hyper specific era JSOC unit is a big thing there, i believe that's why the people were toying with the soldiers.

Yup. One Stun grenade for dispersal and everyone would take it seriously and fall in line.

Japan and Korea are really big in Airsoft

I think airsoft is expensive but worth it
It is damm shame it is much not appreciated or popular
We have people here having expensive hobbies I am sure if Airsoft was an actual thing alot of people will get intrested who can afford it even for Larping it's cool af rich people love that shit

The south east asian are also catching up , but Japan is on whole another level
Indonasia, Vietnam and Thailand are happy shooting real aks down the range even m4s while Vietnamese are shooting rocket launchers too.

Indonesia has so many teir 1 trainers ranges.

I think if airsoft becomes a thing here avaiblity of tactical kit will increase and cost will decrease. But I think rich people are to lazy or ignorant on airsoft and tactical knowledge

Ofc price will decrease a bit with a better market and companies like Olive planet,AT,and Gearsmith will have more market to sell to now only military, hikers and a few adventure seekers are their customers

These seal team dudes are more ballsy than a lot of their counterparts. Fuckers wear whatever they please to! much like their para friends here. It's a proof that para unuts regularly cross train with the whiteside seals :rotflmao:

Same attitude just living in different era

Folks pls enlighten me
I haven't read much about female operatives in nato sof but intrested to know about them
I mean let's take ussocom or jsoc how are they deployed in what sort of roles(coz obviously not combat roles) and in what sort of teams in general that's what I am asking not particularly about devgru or delta or seal or green beret or afsoc
I can talk about the German special forces first. In the three forces, there aren't any women in combat related SF roles. However they are attached to the teams in supporting roles such as Medics, TEO(Technical Exploitation Officers) Or Recon teams. As far as I am aware of, no one has been able to clear the physical screening process for the combat related roles.
The situation is also similar in JSOC/SOCOM. If I am not wrong there's only one or two women who have cleared the Ranger course. Not aware of them clearing any other unit selection.

The only difference is that JSOC/SOCOM boys have complete autonomy when operating, and even if they wear what's comfortable for them in their AO, you will see its standardised.
Meanwhile, you will have Indian units wearing wearing whatever they can because "Who cares" and then make a mockery out of themselves when they go fully kitted up with NODs to a mid day Jungle training course in Hawaii when everyone else around them are only wearing their BDs and chest rigs!

Yeah I am aware of that fact that females haven't cleared screening atleast in US but still there are female operatives who have been inducted by either relaxing the screening procedure or by deputation
And I was curious about their roles thanks for ur insight

What I have read both ksk and ksm that they have their own medic specialized personnel within their platoon command and also support forces
Do females here join through deputation or through relaxed norms

Another question Special Reconnaissance Company which is part of ksk also consist females and how do they join
