Russian Ukrainian War

And Zelensky's ambitions ran into Kursk.

Zaluzhny blasts Zelensky, Kursk disaster

There are articles that write about this, but they refer to some former assistant of Zaluzhny. Zaluzhny himself did not speak about this publicly, so the information goes into the "I believe - I don't believe" plane, where there is a lot of different information, for example, the one where Stalin, through the Bulgarian ambassador, tried to negotiate with Hitler and give up all his conquests of 1939-40 in order to stop the war. But the fact is: Stalin was the ruler until March 1953, and Hitler died in April 1945.
These are all assumptions. We do not know the reality.

Bit unrelated to topic, but related to russia...

West collectively is a bunch of utter shameless, moralless, a pack of lying hippppppocrats.. indeed.
collected:
'In July, the European Union increased imports of Russian fertilizers to a twenty-month high, as a result of which Russia's share in European purchases returned to over 30% for the first time since March 2022 (c) Eurostat

Thus, in mid-summer, the EU increased its import of fertilizers from Russia by 2.2 times compared to the figure in June and by 1.7 times compared to July last year - up to 199 million euros. The figure in July was the highest since November 2022, when supplies amounted to 264 million euros.

Poland was the largest buyer in July: its purchases doubled to 55.7 million euros. Next came France, which increased imports fivefold to 31.5 million euros, and Germany, which reported an increase in fertilizer imports from Russia by a third to 24.5 million euros. Ireland showed the most significant growth. Romania increased its imports of Russian fertilizers at a more modest pace - 54 times to 17.3 million euros, and Bulgaria - 25 times to 12.9 million euros.'

If European do then it's a good deal.
If others do then collaborating with Dictators.

Not for a single day Europe stopped Russia energy import. But all blame India for Financing the war.

Similarly they did with Hukencruz. It's a Christian symbol supported by all church in Europe but when things went south then Suddenly it's become Swastik.

This is the art of living for the Gl0b0h0m0s Liberandu-sickulars.

You're correct, Zaluzhny didn't speak about it publicly. What do you believe? That he though it was a great idea? Zaluzhny is very intelligent, and Zelensky's decision to fire him was idiotic. So when I hear he thought the Kursk offensive was idiotic, I believe these unconfirmed reports.

I have many complaints about Zelensky, and one of them is that he fired Zaluzhny. Formally, he had the right to do this, morally - no. But it was a political decision and Zaluzhny sacrificed himself.
In terms of professionalism, Zaluzhny and Syrsky are about the same, but Zaluzhny loves Ukraine like a mother, Syrsky simply serves it honestly.
I repeat: I did not hear these words from Zaluzhny, and the third assistant of a junior waiter :) is not an authority for me.

Footage of the use of the Russian ATGM "Kornet" against the Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle Bradley M2A2, American-made. The video was filmed in the Pokrovsky direction. Presumably, two ATGM 9M133M-2 with a tandem-cumulative warhead and a range of up to 8,000 meters were used for firing. The firing range of the ATGM "Kornet" is up to 10,000 meters. The Bradley M2A2 IFV was attacked by two ATGMs, the first exploded in front of the tracks, the second immobilized the IFV. The BRAT add-on protection and the engine softened the effects of the ATGM strike, the crew left the combat vehicle, after which mortars began to operate in the area.

Footage of the strike of the Russian kamikaze drone "Lancet-51" on the 122-mm Ukrainian self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika", made in the Soviet Union. The self-propelled howitzer 2S1 "Gvozdika" was developed in 1968 and is also used by the Russian army, the firing range of the self-propelled howitzer is up to 22,000 meters with an active-reactive projectile. The self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika" is characterized by simplicity and reliability, the self-propelled howitzer 2S1 is used by about 40 countries. The drone strike was filmed in the Sumy region of Ukraine, as a result of the strike of the drone "Lancet", a fire started in the Ukrainian self-propelled howitzer "Gvozdika" and the ammunition exploded.

Some thing, tactical changes prominently noticeable:
Ukri side:
Whenever a side starts going under the russian steamroller, ukraine pulls out it's experienced units/ mechaniries out from those areas, instead they just fill in the gaps with overaged/ conscripts'/ TCC captured armatures instead. Result- Russians get bit slower capturing those areas, giving Ukraine the time to fortify the next line of defense behind with the pulled out experienced units, but, at the expense of territorial army.
While on offence, Ukraine is actually using the meatwave tactics now instead of russians to exhaust the russian logistics, they just send a mine clearing unit followed by a tank and couple of apcs with one or two platoons of regular infantry units, it it gets hammered, another batch comes until it gets hammered too... process rotates until the flank cracks. Then goes the elite ones when the flank is breached. As per Zelensky hint, NATO is going to wrap the war and drag russia to knees in coming some month, so manpower can be expendable.

Ru side:
No more armored column PR stunt at first... Shelling/ FAB ing the zone for months to literally flatten all the terrine, along with FPV drone swarms to the back logistic line, disrupting( not cutting the line though- till the time to storm the locations) all the rotation/medivac/ resupply, map the defensive points, then send small batch of recon units on bike/quads to further locate the remaining dugouts/ fpv operators, once the area gets softened enough, armored column converge from at least 2 flanks, while fpv drones with recon drones checks the enemy reinforcement routes.
More now-- russia is trying to save it's manpower more than earlier, they avoid any direct frontal attacks more now. All the move comes now by tightening the flanks and encircling the pockets of AFU.
--------
One thing that's prominently noticeable-- Ukraine did give russia such a zolt that it had to dump and purge all those WW1/2 era tactics and the generals and find and nurture the new ones with more adaptive mindsets. That's why we are witnessing more and more new and unpredictable tactics by russian units to archive aim and correct that too upon findings.
Russia should thank ukraine that they gave russia that rude awakening, atleast.

A powerful fire and explosions have broken out at the Russian 107th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate in the Tver Region. The video shows what is believed to be footage of a fire, although this has not yet been officially confirmed. Recently, the ammunition depot in Toropets has been the target of attacks by Ukrainian drones several times. Unofficially, the fire was caused by fallen debris from a Ukrainian drone. The 107th arsenal was used to store various ammunition, including 122-mm rockets for the Grad MLRS and 82-mm artillery mines, and there may have been missiles as well. It is worth noting that the construction of the 107th arsenal in 2018 was overseen by Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov. At that time, Dmitry Bulgakov said that an arsenal for storing missiles and ammunition that meets the highest world standards would be put into operation in Toropets. Currently, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov has been detained in a criminal case of corruption. According to the latest information, the Governor of the Tver Region Igor Rudenya has decided to partially evacuate the population from the city of Toropets, where work is underway to extinguish a fire and repel an attack by drones. The administration of the Toropets Municipal District announced an evacuation to the city of Zapadnaya Dvina by bus. A hotline for local residents on evacuation issues has been opened.

From what I read, in the last few days many thousands of tonnes of Russian munitions detonated in 3 or 4 locations in Russia due to Ukrainian attacks. I wonder how many more thousands of tonnes will explode if ATACMS starts to be used to do exactly what Russia has been doing for years - firing into the neighbouring country's territory.

I think the best thing for Russia was not for this to end in a few weeks. The puppet government would've been overthrown in a few years and this whole thing would've started all over again. In the long run it's better to just completely destroy all Ukrainian Nazis, and make Ukraine a land locked country. It's sad that it had to come to this, but the west didn't learn their lessons about Nazis in WW2. Or perhaps they did, and they just learned how to hide it from the masses. I think the west is a wolf in sheep's clothing. That clothing is "democracy" "freedom" "sovereignty" and countless other bullshit words to justify mass killings, all in the name pulling the wool over peoples eyes. It's easy to control the masses. History has taught us that.
You identify yourself as a historian and you talk about destroying all Ukrainian Nazis. How many do you think there are? 40 million? How many are there really? There are certainly some, just as in Russia there are certainly some people with ultra-right wing views. Same as there are some in UK, India, eastern Europe and elsewhere.

I think the West did learn their lessons about the Nazis in WW2. The actions of Fascist nationalists stereotyping racial and ethnic groups and systematically trying to exterminate some of them were revealed in full as the Nazis retreated towards Berlin.

@Akim , what is the deal American have with Russia in return?

kursk?? No permission to strike deep inside Russia??

You are so surprised as if the West is waging a war with Russia. I did not react to your previous similar post, but you are asking for clarification. All embassies (except ours) operate in Moscow, and there are also many international treaties. Do you know that until mid-summer, we were transiting Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline and until the end of this year, there will be transit of Russian natural gas?

Going to be problems from January 1. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that most gas used in one or two southern European countries comes from Russia through the pipeline running through Ukraine. I believe that the transmission contract runs out December 31.

I was specifically referring to the leaders of Ukraine and military types like the Azov's. I really don't know the number among the common people. Perhaps it's similar to the German numbers in the 1933 elections. There were parts of Germany where Hitler received only 30% of the vote. I'm not as extreme as the western leaders who say there are no Nazi's in Ukraine because Zelensky is a Jew. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_1933_German_federal_election

Indeed, Ukraine will not sign any contracts with Russia, but Hungary wants to contract Azerbaijani gas, where Russia and Ukraine will be transit countries. How they will do this - I do not know, because we control the Russian gas distribution station in Sudzha and now all Russian natural gas goes to Europe according to previous contracts. Other countries seem to be through the "Turkish Stream".

I wonder how the US representative views the fact that children from Russia go to summer camps in North Korea? Or does the 1950-53 war not concern you?
You catch all sorts of Russian garbage about "Azov".
