The survey said that sixty-one per cent of registered Indian Americans voters plan to vote for Democrat Kamala Harris, while 32 per cent intend to vote for Republican Donald Trump.

At least 47 per cent of respondents in the Indian American Attitude Survey (IAAS) identify as Democrats. This is down from 56 per cent in 2020, when the survey was last conducted. Those identifying as Republicans has remained steady at 21 per cent while those identifying as Independents has increased to 26 per cent, the survey found.
heard that young generation indian men are becoming more and more inclined towards trump than harris whereas same group ladies have 62pc favoring harris.

This is good. Indian Americans should divide their vote 50-50, so that both sides can fight over their vote and neither will take them for granted
NO.
That is stupid.
A minority that votes 50-50 isnt courted by ANY party. because when the total vote yeild is low, you wont spend much effort on either of the two scenarios :
a) they never change vote
b) they are split 50-50 and both parties trying = both parties making tiny progress cancelling each other out, so its wise not to court at all, because then other party will too and we all will be forced to waste resources.

The minority that IS most sought after, is the minority that is the swing-vote. A minority that is willing to go en masse on either side, *IS* the prime political capital for a minority, because it is the PRIME target for any political party's campaign resources.

As a political party, if you see that you can win a high percentage of X minority over/that this minority can swing either way, its PERFECT hot commodity, because it means best bang for your buck for resource allocation ( you still spend less because its a minority, in terms of canvassing/outreach).
