Exactly even with a sustainable average speech of Mach 2 with a flight time of 90 sec the missile can cover 65+ km range.... The range is purposely displayed less... I'm thinking what is the reason for such things... Anything related to export to a particular country?Mach 3 for 30 second would translate into 92km range.
Given its top speed being mach 3 means it's a sustained boost motor which then makes it more believable that Akash Ng will have 100km+ range.

I am 100% sure those tiny ass radars of Akash NG system can't guide the missile to 80+ km.Mach 3 for 30 second would translate into 92km range.

You never reveal the real capabilities unless brochuregiry has to be done.Exactly even with a sustainable average speech of Mach 2 with a flight time of 90 sec the missile can cover 65+ km range.... We do have Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) which fuses information from all sensors and forms overall battery picture which then can be relayed to missiles. Basically all radars would be interconnected even of s400. Any radar could relay information to any launcher even if there respective battery radar is switched off. This increases effectiveness against arms as well.I am 100% sure those tiny ass radars of Akash NG system can't guide the missile to 80+ km.
The missile itself seems capable of doing 80+ km but the system as a whole seems to indicate otherwise.
If we want to extract the full potential of Akash NG pair it with DRDO MPR Arudhra
But then again Yahoodi lobby will never allow it

The radar of akash ng is mentioned to be capable of detecting "2m2" targets upto 120km and capable of tracking "2m2" targets upto 80km.Na.
30 seconds? I think you meant 90 seconds.
It's doesn't fly for mach3 at most of it flight.
Let's do more realitistic(
Internet noob level realistic deduction ) deduction
And assume target is close to the max distance it's flight time and top speed gives us idea about.
For simplicity I will break it's flight( total ~90 second) into 3 phase.
1, 1st 10 seconds( 0s-10s) it accelerates from 0 to mach 3.
IRL missiles accelerates non linearly and distance covered in that time should be 5km.
2, 2nd 60 second phase(10s-70s).
I assume constant mach 3 speed( sustained motor)
Distance covered= 60km.
3, 3d 20 second phaee( 70-90s) I assume missile stops it's motor( glides or only uses fuel for maneuverability) and decelrates to mach2 to hit the target.
15-20km distance for terminal maneuvering.
So max range of akash ng 80- 85km in its current form.
Which also is in similar category as 70+km max range shown earlier by drdo.
By adding a booster 100+km max range is quite easy to get.
Now this is the capability of the missile and not the entire system.
Don't know if the radars can guide it beyond 30km
But if this missile is limited to 30km then it's no escape zone will be massive.
