An immediate military action against Bangladesh is not feasible. Issue is not the Western Pakistan front but the challenge posed by the situation on the Eastern Ladakh front.

We would need at least five years to prepare for opening a front against Bangladesh. By that time, the US might arm and train the Bangladeshi forces as they did in Ukraine, potentially leading to a scenario similar to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

A more viable approach would be to establish a Mukhti Vahini 2.0 with the clear goal of destabilizing Bangladesh in the long term. Simultaneously, we should increase the number of Agniveers such that to have an access of 200000 troops. A wrong perception is being made, Agniveers are needed for maintaining a youthful force and not reduce the number of regular troops.

Focus on full-scale insurgency and salami slicing in the Chittagong region backed by IA and Chicken neck backed by Mukhti Vahini 2.0. This will also require dealing with the Kukis, which should be managed by the CRPF within the next 2-3 years.

Look around and smell the coffee, only a few weak countries of Europe and America are in a bloc, all the other countries are either neutral or strongly anti American, including many in the Arab world. There are many Arab friends India has, also, many friends in the Indo Pacific.
You forget that it is we who can attack Diego Garcia with maximum force when push comes to shove. No American weapon can protect that base.

Most Bengalis aren't desperate to taste this fish anymore. The Kolkata based Bengali elite class peddles this fish as something akin to a "rite of passage" to be taken annually to maintain one's Bangali-ness. I personally have never liked this fish that much, picking through it's bones is an exercise of it's own. Ever since the prices started going bananas nearly 10 years back, middle class households have quietly excluded it from their seasonal diet. Nowadays this fish is mostly reserved for family gatherings and close-knit events. While Bengalis won't come after you with a pitchfork for the low supply of Hilsa, we like fish in general and do not take kindly when somebody tells us to eat less fish

I don’t think it’s possible this year.. if we indeed have military intervention plans then should start preparing now till next December until then keep kanglus boiling and stir the anarchy to such an extent when we act it should seem inevitable and we were forced to act.
