LOL, China has quite many defense industry enterprises and this so called naval 155mm gun is not from the manufacturer of 155mm SPHs (PLZ 05/45/52 etc.)...

the factory used to manufacture 100mm/105/120/125mm tank guns and 122mm SPHs but never 152/155mm howitzer/gun-howitzer...however they are the general contractor of 130mm Naval gun.

On March 15, 2025, at 1:30 PM, a J-15 carrier-based aircraft of the Chinese Navy experienced a nearly vertical stall and plummeted toward the ground. The incident took place over the town of Jiali, located in the northwestern part of Hainan Island. The moment was captured by numerous eyewitnesses on their phones. The aircraft, officially touted as the "Flying Shark," lost control during its landing. The dark-colored radar dome and the distinctive shape of the three-wing surfaces clearly indicated that this was one of the early models of the J-15. This incident not only exposed its technical flaws but also punctured the Chinese government’s boastful claims of having a "blue-water navy."Join this channel to get access to perks:

Like the US hasn’t done it already.
there is a prophecy by paravicini fron the XX century that says China will be successful in anti-satellite warfare but the Chinese will be beaten at the end by the USA and then the USA will fragment into 4 smaller nations.

Consider it just a prophecy but it was made if I am not wrong in 1939 when there were no artificial satellites.

It is sad Chinese has good people but a horrible government

>According to sources, Liu was a former assistant engineer at a leading defense research institute specializing in military aviation technology. MSS sources revealed that Liu became disgruntled after being passed over for promotion, prompting him to illegally copy, store, and ultimately sell classified defense-related documents.

>Following his resignation, Liu briefly worked for an investment firm, but mounting financial losses from risky stock speculation and unauthorized credit withdrawals drove him to seek alternative means of income—ultimately leading him to trade state secrets for money, according to Global Times.

>Chinese security officials say Liu engaged in highly methodical intelligence operations, using sophisticated tactics to avoid detection:

>Fragmenting and cataloging sensitive defense documents before transmission.
Setting up multiple online accounts to receive covert payments.
Utilizing anonymous IC and SIM cards, regularly changing communication methods to evade surveillance.
Operating under multiple aliases, using prearranged codes for encrypted exchanges.
Over a six-month period, Liu traveled to multiple countries, allegedly leaking highly sensitive Chinese defense intelligence to foreign operatives. **However, his handlers—foreign intelligence agents—cut ties with him after acquiring crucial data at a low cost, a move that left Liu vulnerable and exposed.**

>Rather than abandoning his operations, Liu refined his espionage methods and attempted to re-establish contact with foreign intelligence agencies. His actions raised red flags within China’s national security apparatus, triggering intensive surveillance that led to his eventual arrest in a covert counterintelligence operation.

>According to MSS, Liu was convicted of espionage and the illegal transfer of state secrets. The court handed down the ultimate penalty—execution, along with lifelong deprivation of political rights, underscoring the gravity of the offense.

🚨 China is not even hiding it any more… the country has unveiled a compact, deep-sea, cable-cutting device, capable of severing the world's most fortified underwater communication or power lines at depths of up to 4,000m — twice the maximum operational range of existing subsea communication infrastructure.

The device has been designed specifically for integration with China's advanced crewed and uncrewed submersibles like the Striver (奋斗者 / Fendouzhe) and the Haidou (海斗) series.

Developed by China Ship Scientific Research Centre (CSSRC) and its affiliated State Key Laboratory of Deep-sea Manned Vehicles, the device targets armored cables — layered with steel, rubber and polymer sheaths — that underpin 95% of global data transmission.

While it was created as a tool for civilian salvage and seabed mining, the dual-use potential of the tool could send alarm bells ringing for other nations. For example, it can be used to cut cables near strategic chokepoints such as Guam.

Admirable capabilities but makes one wonder how & when will China deploy these platforms?

It can't do so in a war as the Quad Navies will be a formidable force operating out of the South & East China Seas apart from the Western Pacific Ocean.

It can't do so in peacetime as well for obvious reasons which leaves room for only a Pearl Harbor kind of operation which'd pre empt the US & it's allies but then again the first signs of a break down in communication would let the cat out of the bag not to mention the fact that it'd probably be considered an act of war.

They are ambitious idiots. They'll use merchant vessels. Which will only end with the sinking of every chinese flagged ship on sight.

It's a two way sword.
Not hard to develop a cable cutter for other countries too.
It's a internet version of mutual destruction.
China is proliferating the risk for its enemies and itself.
The only area where it could be justified if they limit It's use to only against Taiwan in "wartime" and that's looks like it's intended purpose.
To cut of Taiwan from internet( except satellites) during invasion.
