LOL, China has quite many defense industry enterprises and this so called naval 155mm gun is not from the manufacturer of 155mm SPHs (PLZ 05/45/52 etc.)...Chinese are testing a 155mm gun derived from their PLZ-05 howitzer for naval application

there is a prophecy by paravicini fron the XX century that says China will be successful in anti-satellite warfare but the Chinese will be beaten at the end by the USA and then the USA will fragment into 4 smaller nations.Like the US hasn’t done it already.
China is not even hiding it any more… the country has unveiled a compact, deep-sea, cable-cutting device, capable of severing the world's most fortified underwater communication or power lines at depths of up to 4,000m — twice the maximum operational range of existing subsea communication infrastructure.
The device has been designed specifically for integration with China's advanced crewed and uncrewed submersibles like the Striver (奋斗者 / Fendouzhe) and the Haidou (海斗) series.
Developed by China Ship Scientific Research Centre (CSSRC) and its affiliated State Key Laboratory of Deep-sea Manned Vehicles, the device targets armored cables — layered with steel, rubber and polymer sheaths — that underpin 95% of global data transmission.
While it was created as a tool for civilian salvage and seabed mining, the dual-use potential of the tool could send alarm bells ringing for other nations. For example, it can be used to cut cables near strategic chokepoints such as Guam.

Admirable capabilities but makes one wonder how & when will China deploy these platforms?
It can't do so in a war as the Quad Navies will be a formidable force operating out of the South & East China Seas apart from the Western Pacific Ocean.
It can't do so in peacetime as well for obvious reasons which leaves room for only a Pearl Harbor kind of operation which'd pre empt the US & it's allies but then again the first signs of a break down in communication would let the cat out of the bag not to mention the fact that it'd probably be considered an act of war.

They are ambitious idiots. They'll use merchant vessels. Which will only end with the sinking of every chinese flagged ship on sight.
The only area where it could be justified if they limit It's use to only against Taiwan in "wartime" and that's looks like it's intended purpose.
To cut of Taiwan from internet( except satellites) during invasion.
This thing would require a new category.
