LOL, China has quite many defense industry enterprises and this so called naval 155mm gun is not from the manufacturer of 155mm SPHs (PLZ 05/45/52 etc.)...

the factory used to manufacture 100mm/105/120/125mm tank guns and 122mm SPHs but never 152/155mm howitzer/gun-howitzer...however they are the general contractor of 130mm Naval gun.

there is a prophecy by paravicini fron the XX century that says China will be successful in anti-satellite warfare but the Chinese will be beaten at the end by the USA and then the USA will fragment into 4 smaller nations.

Consider it just a prophecy but it was made if I am not wrong in 1939 when there were no artificial satellites.

It is sad Chinese has good people but a horrible government

Admirable capabilities but makes one wonder how & when will China deploy these platforms?

It can't do so in a war as the Quad Navies will be a formidable force operating out of the South & East China Seas apart from the Western Pacific Ocean.

It can't do so in peacetime as well for obvious reasons which leaves room for only a Pearl Harbor kind of operation which'd pre empt the US & it's allies but then again the first signs of a break down in communication would let the cat out of the bag not to mention the fact that it'd probably be considered an act of war.

They are ambitious idiots. They'll use merchant vessels. Which will only end with the sinking of every chinese flagged ship on sight.

It's a two way sword.
Not hard to develop a cable cutter for other countries too.
It's a internet version of mutual destruction.
China is proliferating the risk for its enemies and itself.
The only area where it could be justified if they limit It's use to only against Taiwan in "wartime" and that's looks like it's intended purpose.
To cut of Taiwan from internet( except satellites) during invasion.

This thing would require a new category.
Along the lines of Aircruiser/command Jet.

F35,j20 etc when they are upgraded with all the new tech that is envisioned for 6th gen, would be much suitable to be called 6th gen "fighters".

Usaf seem to focus a lot on agility/manurablility for its 6th gen f47, now I'm of a beleifs that it won't be in the class of su57, f22 In terms of manurablity, but still good pitch and yaw manurablility, tighter turning radius etc can be expected, so can have fighter like agility.

This also comes due to different expectations, for china j36 will most likely remain at a distance in bvr range and command it's wingman's from there.
For US, f47 while able to do same thing as j36, but is also designed to be capable to penetrate and lead it's forces into enemy controlled space, in that case it can be forced to be engaged in many wvr fights along with bvr standoff one, and the manurablility will come handy there.
So f47 is also more fighter like compared to j36, while still able to act as a command jet like j36.


Different philosophies and requirements at work here.
