Chinese Economy Watch

Are we discussing the Indian economy here or the Chinese economy ? Why's it every time you guys are exposed you get defensive & start referring to India ? Shouldn't you be comparing yourself to the US ?

On topic , there's the stock market with equity , debentures , derivatives , options & mutual funds. Have you heard of them ? Then there are savings in banks , fixed deposits , recurring deposits & other bank saving mechanisms . There's insurance & postal savings in addition. There's property & gold .

Any Indian citizen can invest in these in India & in foreign markets as well ? Does the ordinary Chinese enjoy this freedom ? If not why not ? After all you're a USD surplus country .

Those financial projects are no different from China

Those financial projects are no different from China
Yeah well then either you don't know stuff about your own country or you're lying. Ordinary Chinese cannot invest in foreign stock markets or own properties abroad at least not legally as per Chinese law & I mean mainland Chinese here not Chinese from Hong Kong or Macau.

Secondly a majority of the Chinese aren't familiar with stock markets & are therefore reticent about investing in them .

This brings us to traditional savings mechanisms like banks which doesn't offer much returns or the usual - property & gold.

With the property market crashing & the CCP refusing to bail out the sector or offer relief to the ordinary Chinese in terms of home loans , these investments in properties made before 2022 are now fetching roughly 25% -33% of their previous prices with the result the Chinese economy which was never a consumption based economy is now facing deflation because people are just refusing to spend .

That's the reason the CCP is offering stimulus packages galore which hasn't had the desired effects.

what weigat happens when ymost difrow too fast. You take short cuts make elementary mistakes & in the end all those sins & mistakes catch up with you .

From my POV, it's India took the short cut but China tackled most difficulty part, and India is paying heavy prices now.

The recent pollution in Delhi is not even by industrialization like 10 yrs ago of Beijing, but totally by some other factors.

During 2000s, Ur Manmohan Sihg administration only focused on service sectors. It's relatively easy. U had 1 million good trained programmers from your top elite class, stayed in good office buildings, with internet cables, comit codes with SVN, which totally isolated with real India society, u can gained reputation of "world office".

I admired firms like infosys Satym, wipro at that time. But if look from 2024, u missed golden time for manufacture and industrialization. Since office jobs like outsourcing and coding, any former English speaking colony nation can do, i was also competing coding teams from India, Pakistan, Bengel, Philippines during 2000s...

For manufacture and industrialization, It's the most difficult thing in the world. You have to train your people to reach 90% literacy then you would have disciplined workers. you have to build good infrastructures, ports, robust power grids to make foxconn like monster operating, you have to make your government and financial system efficient enough then attract forgein investments.

For short, building a manufacture based economy, you need whole of your society to be involved, from farmer, farmer workers, urban people, government to be mobilized totally. It's like a total social engineering, including Hukou system as part of it.

Building an outsourcing based economy, you only need millions of elite class, softwar park, cables, and light weight power grids.

Now you can see who tried short cut and what is the consequence now.

As I said before this is a marathon not a sprint the CCP seems to think it is. It's great helmsman 2.0 who's asked the Han to "eat bitterness." Why would a nation's paramount leader with an economy doing extremely well as per you lot out here ask his people to bear with problems ? This is the clearest sign of short cuts taking a toll on the economy. What these short cuts are I've already enumerated before .

If coding was so easy that any colony can do it why's China not doing it ? And if you're expecting us to believe Pakistan Philippines & Bangladesh are competing with India in IT services then franky you need to get your head examined.

Isn't that what India's doing with Apple ? And we've achieved in 5 years in terms of localisation of components what you took 15 years to achieve. Perhaps you didn't read what I wrote earlier we're EXACTLY where China was 20 years ago that is in 2004.

For short, building a manufacture based economy, you need whole of your society to be involved, from farmer, farmer workers, urban people, government to be mobilized totally. It's like a total social engineering, including Hukou system as part of it.

You're making it out as though the Han were consulted by the CCP every time they took a decision on which factory was to be built where or where was a dam or an expressway to be built. That's what a democracy is all about. Is that how the CCP governs ? Thru consultation soliciting views & votes in an election or any other decision making mechanism ?

Right now you need to worry what are you going to do with all that surplus capacities once Trump comes to power , the war in Ukraine stops & both the EU & the US come after China with trade sanctions. If the CCP & you believe you can become the factory of the world & every other nation is going to sit by & see their manufacturing sector destroyed , all I can do is laugh at your thinking.

By the way the English or rather the translation of the post of mine you've quoted is atrocious. Gives one an idea of the quality of your products apps & services.

At the end of 2022, China's Ministry of Transport announced that more than three-quarters (77% or 542,600) of all urban buses in the country were "new energy vehicles", a term used by the Chinese government to include pure electric, plug-in hybrids, and fuel cell vehicles powered by alternative fuels such as hydrogen and methanol. In 2022, around 84% of the new energy bus fleet was pure electric.

10 Largest Coach Bus Manufacturers In The World

Globally, the coach is known and well loved by many people for various different reasons. They’re safe, relatively cheap and best of all they’re great for the environment.

Often used for touring long distances, these versatile vehicles come in all shapes and sizes – from minibus all the way up to double decker, standard all the way to mega luxury. For this list, we’re looking at some of the largest coach manufacturers in the world (some you may have never even heard of).

10. Scania

Country of origin: Sweden
Sales Volume: 7,777

Founded in 1911, you may have seen these everywhere if you live in Europe. The company is a subsidiary of Traton, owned by Volkswagen and listed on different stock exchanges, including NASDAQ.

The product range of Scania includes passenger bus, ambulance bus, mountain bus, and mobile blood donor.

9. Volvo Buses

Country of origin: Sweden
Sales Volume: 9,731

Next on the list we see another manufacturer from Sweden. Volvo may be 9th on the list but it’s certainly one of the most famous. Known for its sturdy and reliable cars, Volvo also make fantastic coaches.

Founded in 1968 in Gothenburg, this company has grown exponentially since its first production vehicles. The Volvo products range from buses, coaches to chassis and other services related to buses. Some of the famous models of Volvo buses include Volvo B8RLEA, Volvo B11R, and Volvo B7RLE.

8. Higer Bus

Country of origin: China
Sales Volume: 11,412

Higer is not always a name that comes to mind when thinking about coach manufacturers in Western Europe. Despite this, the company has still sold an impressive 11,412 units in the short time it’s been around.

Founded only 24 years ago, this Chinese coach manufacturer exports its products to over 100 countries and different territories, including the Middle East, Russia, South Asia, America, and Eastern Europe. Expect to see more of this brand in the future.

7. MAN

Country of origin: Germany
Sales Volume: 13,972

Being a subsidiary of Volkswagen, it’s no surprise to see MAN as one of the world’s largest coach manufacturers. Founded in 1758, this brand's legacy stretches far and wide when it comes to notoriety.

MAN SE product ranges include urban & intercity coaches, touring coaches, light and heavy-duty transport buses to fire trucks & heavy-duty trucks.

We have another huge Chinese company that also has its headquarters in Xiamen. King Long (often mistaken for King Kong), has an impressive array of vehicles under its seatbelt such as vans, coaches, school buses, transit buses, and city buses. This on its own makes it one of the largest coach and bus manufacturing companies in the world.

2. Diamler

Country of origin: Germany

Arguably one of the most famous manufacturers is our trusted Daimler-Benz. Does the name look familiar? It’s actually the same company as Mercedes-Benz.

1.Yutong

Country of origin: China

Ranking number 1 globally for 9 consecutive years and 17 years in China, this beast of a coach and bus manufacture is a force to be reckoned with. Best known for its luxury and comfort, Yutong is the largest bus and coach manufacture in the world at nearly 60,000 units sold and counting, nearly double that of Diamler at the number 2 spot.

Zhengzhou Yutong manufactures all types of buses, from medium-sized electric buses to heavy-duty coaches. The famous models of Yutong include TC9, TC12, and GT12 coach.

On the whole,

It’s absolutely clear to see that China dominates the bus and coach market globally, with so many manufacturers and such a large-scale operation, is it any wonder. With that being said, no matter where the bus or coach is made, it still turns up trumps as the best mode of transport for the environment and comfort.

Mostly in China, but in Mexico and Brazil Mercedes benz has much higher sales, first for one reason they produce in mexico and Brazil and second the buses from China are imported so they have now tariffs

On the other hand, Doctor Aideé Orozco Hernández, deputy director of Technological Development, Linkage and Innovation of the Conahcyt, commented that the Taruk bus “was designed with the support of two technology-based Mexican companies, Megaflux and Grupo DINA, in collaboration with the Center of Advanced Technology (CIATEQ)”. It is interesting that this Public Center that is boosting sustainable mobility is coordinated by Conahcyt, as well as by the UNAM and UAM Engineering Institute, specifically the unit located in Iztapalapa.

Taruk, like Olinia, is expected to boost electromobility, and which will begin to be increasingly present in Mexico, especially on public transport.

Roberto Gottfried, CEO and founder of Megaflux, the company in charge of the manufacture of the electric drive train, explains that at the moment, he is counting on 68% of Regional Content Value, a figure that will increase to 75% in the middle of the year, since Some of its components are already being developed in the country.

Chinese vehicles have been placed as the ideal option to count on greener mobility in the country, but Taruk has the objective of reversing this trend, while also appearing as an alternative to reduce the use of private vehicles and reduce congestion.
Roberto Gottfried, co-founder of Megaflux, explained that '70% of Taruk's manufacturing is national', and noted that the only components that matter are lithium cells and power electronics. 'Even though we designed it here, we have to send it to make fire', he clarified. Dina manufactures the bodywork and chassis, while Megaflux is responsible for producing the engine. According to Gottfried, with current production capacity, 'it is possible to manufacture between 3,000 and 4,000 units of Taruk per year', which positions Mexico as a key player in the development of electric vehicles.
Remember nations are unwilling to let China destroy their industries
