I like how on each and every republic day Indian mainstream media become so patriotic and supportive to the Indian military and the soldiers in service and all just for some trp especially those TV anchors especially the likes of that Shweta Singh on ajjtak, who on republic days turns into an all knowledgeable defenceexfart, don't these exfarts know about our military ills like insufficient budget, poor training, archaic equipment, widespread corruption and frequent ambushes why didn't these people called upon RM Rajnath Singh when he transformed raesi terror attack on hindu pilgrims into an accident. Nine pilgrims were killed in that attack, and an additional 41 were injured . Why didn't these people said anything when bodies of our soldiers got mutilated. It disgusts my soul that these low life scums breath same air as us.

Not many remember frustrations of viewers when focus was on leaders more than what was on display. Imagine commentator describing Arjun/flypast and suddenly camera pans off and focuses on SG, cabinet ministers or camera man's /or his wife's favorite object of attention like flower pots rather than tank itself. This is during era when internet was not available and republic day was one of the only occasions when you could see military wares.
