Chit Chat

This is a seriously dangerous word play here:
"Exchange of God between Hindu Pantheon and Graeco-Roman Pantheon"
is not same as:
"hinduwo ne others ke god ko khud ka bata kr copy paste kiya hai"

I am willing to take an L here and not continue this anymore. I made that clear already that no more discussion or disclosure on the topic from my side.

There is no exchange of said gods between greek and hindu pantheons.

Very debatable.

Indian population is made up of three genetic components.

Steppe , Iranian, AASI.

AASI arrived first and their religion is mostly unknown. High probability that Shiva was the main deity.

Than came Iranian, Iranian and AASI lived side by side and mixed their culture.

Main deities being Shiva, Shakti(Durga), Varuna, Agni and such.
Than came steppe which most likely created the concept of Brahma Visnu Mahesh.

Just a hypothesis.

Next level dehati brainrot.

Jio was a mistake.
We need some sort of cultural revolution here in India not exactly like chinese one but there should be one. Dehatism is being accepted in the name of culture and tradition.
So many malpractices and ill-activates are booming in society again: Launda Naach, Leud Dance Mandali, tharki elder uncles prying on young girls, etc-etc in Multiple states.
These are not limited to North or few states but happens around the country.

Those who are more interested in this topic can visit the National Archives of India on Janpath Delhi. You can find a vast collection of oldest work on Indian history (free from regional or western bias).

I used to frequent there during 2010-12 times. Read so many books covering Indus Valley civilization and earliest mention of Gods being worshipped in the Indus valley region as well in the Gangetic plains.

The earliest mention on any God is Proto-Shiva. Most Vedic gods came much later. You will very easily find answers on which God came from where and which God went where!

We just need scientific temperament...in everything; personal finance to healthcare to family planning to religion to food to education to casting votes...every freaking thing. PERIOD
We simply need everyone to just pause for a second and think about the logical reasoning behind what he or she's going to do. That's it, just this much and trust in a decade or two we'd be comparable to Scandinavians in terms of quality in everything.

But the irony is that we're perhaps the only country in the whole world which explicitly mentions scientific temperament as a fundamental duty and still have it in the levels comparable to sub-Saharan countries.

- Rant ends 😏 -

Right!
We have screwed so many things in the name of culture and traditions.

Our food and diet are currently messed up, but we defend all habits strongly in the name of western interference and preserve the traditions. There is no focus on balance of Carbs, Protein, fat and fiber in the Diet.
There is no sporting culture in majority of places. The sportsman and athletes we are producing are relatively smaller sample size compared to bulk of nations around the globe.

Guys noobs and youngsters here

A bit of advice.

Invest in buying health insurance and life insurance. Prioritize it right next to food rent and cloth.
You should account for health insurance cost on your monthly expenses.

Prioritize health insurance over buying a phone, car or watch.

Yes, multiple options are available now in accordance with what one is earning at the moment.

Plus, the plain old standard LIC should be must. Check with that guy in your extended family who is a LIC agent and buy few retirement and life plans.

Yes, there were instances of that. Also, maybe not just between these but many other contemporary civilizations of the time.
no. There wasn't. There very rarely is exchnge of deities in non-abrahamic religions, because the deities usually represent natual forces and natural concepts. Everyone has a war god, a king of gods, a god of the sea etc etc.

There never has been evidence of religious concepts being influenced between civilization X and Y in non-abrahamic religions. At best, they've imported THEIR deities into the fold ( like instead of using kartikeya, the indo-greeks used Nike) but there is little to no evidence of said exchange.

He might be referring to
Shiva
. I read an article a long time ago (remember it was a leftie portal, can't recall which one) where it showed how some Greek and Iranian gods were taken into Hinduism and Shiva is the biggest name.

Here is the problem with indian city planning.
Houses are built before roads and than road has to fit the nook and canny of the irregular buildings.
Result:
no harmony in visuals
Hard to create footpath.
Hard to lay down drainage as roads curve and bend with irregular angles like 49* 78*
Hard to build underground electricity.

In a planned city like the picture on the right.
The roads are built first, than the area for houses are allocated or simply whoever owns the land builds houses in leftover land and sells the rest.

Notice the curves are constant and turnings are more traditional like 90*.

Drawing by me.

We all know why houses are built first because no one wanna give up their land and any attempt at Symmetry will drag on and on in Muh Democracy.
