Its common knowledge that India is 'you get what you pay for but 3x better value for money than USA' for accomodation, right from 10 bucks/night option all the way to 2500bucks/night option.
That is why the moment i brought it up, he immediately failed to acknowledge and went on towards 'look poop river, street poop, garbage on street' randi-rona, because his intention was never actual criticism but more 'smelly pajeet' cope trope.

Thread was locked yet this "pajeet" continues to bicker.

Edit: Btw, the floors in India are not marble. They are laminate flooring designed to look like marble. Indian homes are concrete. This is another irrelevant point brought by people who are desperate to prove nothing. My criticism had nothing to do with "value" but instead simply... hygiene. I don't give a **** about value. I care about hygiene. I don't want dirty sheets, blankets, trash everywhere, water that isn't clean, poop all over the streets (cow poop, don't you dare say this isn't the reality either). I don't care that this isn't in the USA and you can spend 1 quadrillion dollars and have Modi personally touch your feet and wash them. None of that matters to me. I want it to be clean. Period. I am done with this discussion.

Edit 2: I can't leave without telling this person to go back to India. Leave Canada. You'll be making both places better

LMAO. 4 of my family has marble floors and they arent even that rich. Its marble over concrete, genius.
your critiism about hygene does not exist in accomodations across india. You also tried to tell us that you get better for $50 in usa than india, which is flat out false.
you dont get dirty sheets, dirty blankets and stuff for anything more than $20/night in India.
And no, cow poop is also not a reality in major metros anymore and hasnt been for 10+ years. as i said, try your tropes elsewhere.

You seem to be really scared of leaving Canada to go back to India lol. Interesting. India can't be as great as you claim.
 
The fact that you think Indians use vinyl instead of real marble speaks volumes about the style and aesthetics you are accustomed to in the west. Indian homes have marble or granite floors. It’s very common here and not considered special. It’s considered a luxury in the west and most people who can’t afford it have vinyl. Vinyl isn’t really used in India.
