Apart from delusions:
1. You cannot end terrorism in the valley, you can reduce it like the post-abrogation times where we were dominating them and Kashmir was largely peaceful.
2. "We should raid paki posts, bomb them, attack them" sound good on social media, you face an enemy that has a military more than twice the size of yours irrespective of how tiny their GDP might be.
3. Attacking paki army won't yield anything, Baloch freedom fighters and Taliban shag them on a daily basis, and that too in a terrain where PAA and PAF can actually strafe them to stone age. Pakis don't care about their cannon fodders.
4. Our aim should be to create large hit squads (unknown gunmen) to take down potential threats before they come here. Frankly, that's what I expect R&AW to be doing, but so far only former terrorists have been shot dead.
5. No amount of modernisation can help us with ambushes; not every truck, jeep, car on official Army usage can be armoured. They will find loopholes to ambush you anyways.
You are surrounded by folks in our neighbourhood who believe in ghazwa-e-Hind and jihad against mushrikeen to be the greatest act they can do. Unless you <Redact> pakis from the face of earth, you will continue facing islamist terrorism everywhere. They have no other reason or purpose of existence.
