Coz the IAF was keen on the Rafales. These are 2 mutually exclusive issues - the quality of the Rafales & Dassault's & other French defence OEMs questionable & reprehensible business tactics.

I realise it's difficult for le francais to comprehend but it is what it is. Multiple countries have called out NG. If everyone has a problem with Bob the problem is Bob.

Because indian top brass need to feed HAL.
These components are not very sensible ones. If HAL failed it's not a problem, SAFRAN has others sources, and can say "see, we tried to help and feed HAL". If HAL succed, it's perfect for every one.

We were speaking on made in india jets. Dassault can't give a warranty on something not mastered by itself. To give all the blue prints is not enough to be sure HAL produce according to the plan.
And specially with HAL (remember the destroyed mirage 2000 just upgraded by HAL...)

At the end I agree we disagree. End of the game.

Once again how're GoI plans linked to SAFRAN appointing HAL as a sub contractor ? This isn't even linked to the off sets arrangements . Had that been the case , SAFRAN would've made a huge song & dance about it .

You mean SAFRAN is taking a leaf out of Boeing & P&W . Experimenting with passenger safety at the cost of exploring cheap vendors ? Hence if we have a crash or 2 causing a few hundred casualties , blame HAL . Sounds like a sensible plan. We wish you success .

I fully endorse your stand. Why did Dassault commit to honouring these T&C when it submitted its bid for without the company's stamp & seal adhering to all the T&C of the tender , the bid is invalid.

Hence my repeated assertions where is the exclusion clause or letter of non conformance by Dassault to items in the tender or T&C it didn't agree with.

There aren't any coz Dassault didn't submit one. They waited for the tender opening & then decided to wrestle the initiative by issuing non conformance letters to various clauses .

This is described as an act of bad faith in business practices.

The issue was of guaranteeing QA & time taken to roll out each FA. It's nothing to do with sharing blue prints .

Hope we standardize our air defense missile in the 30-50 KM envelope, we have lot many types of missiles in this range. Going forward, it would be better to stick to one missile system and mass-produce. it.

I have attended several seminars of RSS & affiliate orgs where history was discussed

Many times the speakers used to emphasize that choosing USSR over USA was a mistake. There was always a pro US flavor.
