DRDO and PSU's

So all the past news about 100% Indigenization & TOT was false.

This is how we are being made chutiya regarding license production & TOT .

In reality no meaningful TOT is given & no tech absorption is done .we remain dependent on foreign OEM forever.

Bro, they take 60,000 per month just for SCREWDRIVERGIRI.
Where you can get job like that?
Even today when I got this news, I said all those SELF home made Russian engines news were actually crap.
These people have mastered the art of making fool of indigenous weapons community by showing the same dream that Paki generals do every month with Gold found, Copper found, etc.

Alright guys, has anyone actually know what the US mech force grunts feel about the Stryker as a war machine?
It's universally hated.

ULPGM is drop launched whereas as the SANT flies off the hard point of the helicopter.

ULPGM is also a micro munition and SANT is more analogous to the AGM 114 Hellfire or Spike NLOS missile.

yes, why?
what will SANT loose in functionality if it is drop launched?

Traditionally Tube launch provided immediate thrust for stability and accuracy, or else missiles had the tendency to start tilting their nose downwards if they are drop launched unless missile had good centre of balance to maintain mostly horizontal position till the rocket motor ignites and pushes it forward which can take a few seconds.
Another way was if aircraft drop launched it when moving fast like winged drones, fighters jets.
But helicopters can hover.
So tube launched provided more flexibility in how to launch the missile whether moving or hovering.
Now modern day missiles can be designed to be drop launched even from hovering platform quite easily, like ulpgm.

But tube launch has become "standard", all attack helis and their weapons racks are designed for tube launch as default, because even in modern times tube launch also provides ability to stack missiles over another.

So unlike drop launching from drones, there's not much benefit to switching over to drop launch missile from helicopters.

For high altitude I think we are getting a more powerful engine, the above variant in the pic would be actually good, replace the stingers(?) with new gen javelins and a 30mm. Would be mobile and sufficient firepower with defensive soft kill capabilities. Later on we can add LM/drone capability. Basically modify it with indigenous tech create new variants.

Would still prefer the Mahindra whap though however, if its happening, there is nothing we can say/do. Just cope. lol
We should not cope with WHAP will be selected. Instead it is better to scream Muh corruption with Stryker and policy failure.

WHAP already had 600Hp cummins, will get 700hp CVRDE/AL Engine also. We already have VSHORADS and ADANI already showcase the multiple tube launchers. How much time already will take. 30mm gun is already available, AWEIL already manufacturing the 30mm barrel. OFT Trichy is building them for decades. Bharat Forge already working on 30mm Turret.

Why the hell someone throw every different technologies DRDO developed, Indian OEM manufactured weapons for an mediocre platform.

OFB have notorious QC issue. Most probably the engine is hand assembled like Hindustan Motors Ambassador Era.

Only sanity is GOI is getting private OEM and also DRDO engines will be made by AL.
