DRDO and PSU's

If you're targets are systems like s400/s300/hq16 etc etc you will need such large weapon system to counter as we don't have stealth aircraft to perform sead/dead against them we will have to rely on long ranged systems which will obviously be heavy as the ranges they have to engage systems like s400 are quite huge. talking abt rudram 3

You are being too peculiar.
If Tejas mk2 can carry rud-2 then rafale can. If they integrate it.

You can integrate you're own radars but the cost for integration testing would be staggering.
That's why they dumped navy's rafales + uttam proposal. And OEM's intentionally charge an army n leg and in many cases they don't even integrate usual weapons let alone radar. Dassault failed as it was next to impossible for them to integrate spice on rafales instead we had to bring there hammer system.

Correct, same Frenchmen also charged 877cr for integration of EHWT into Scorpene/Kalvari subs, ofc this was to ((( motivate ))) us to purchase the French F21 torpedo instead.

This OEM loot is across all impoorted platforms, with domestic gear we have unprecedented control, customization and ability to integrate whatever weapons we want, but as if the Import Bahadurs care

We can call it loot. At the end of the day, Military ware sales, lot of countries tries to sell the products originating from there.

Even if we sell the Tejas to foreign Countries. We will sell this like an package. We will sell Astra, Rudram, TARA, DRDO NG-CCM, Gaurav etc. But on brochure we will say we can integrate star wars laser.

Only Russians allow us to fiddle around with SU-30MKI, we junked their mission computer. France allowed for Mirage 2000. But for Rafale, they had our balls and they will sell the entire package.

Not getting our mission computer on rafale was a very big mistake I suppose it was too expensive or the import bahadurs didn't bother may be the French weren't allowing anyways had our rafales had indi mission computer it would have been so so better. Right now it's pain in asx to integrate astra, rudram, guided unguided bombs, and hell lot of other weapons. Let's see if France does spice-2000 like drama again I hope it goes well.

No details from French regarding the Rafale- India weapons integration.

Problem with IAF if they screw up logistics with zoo of aircraft.

F-35 with its own communication, data sharing systems. Rafale with its own data sharing system. Now Tejas MK1A, MWF and AMCA, SU-30MKI with own data sharing system. This is reciepe for disaster. Since from UKR-RUS war, ISR is crucial to plan real time strikes. Relying on old school data will be ineffective. Speaking of this, we need ISR platforms, Netra 2 should be in full fledge.
