How? By allowing them to visit violence in hindu place of worship and intimidate hindu worshippers? that's not freedom of protest or expression.
agree , they also call posters to kill a leader of another country freedom of expression along with floats
displaying assasinations of a leader.

The way security works in Canada is different it seems anyone is allowed to heckle , shout at and protest at even the pm without consequences.

So it seems Canada
accepts these kind of protests, however Indian diplomats and Indian bureaucracy is not used to suck heckling, and logically it doesn't serve any purpose other than disrupting public events.

Canada should understand that Sikh extremism was very violent and was put out after huge sacrifices by security forces, Sikhs are not of caucasian stock and in Asia there is no use of such violent rhetorical protests until the aim (as they themselves claim) is secession which India won't allow even under the garb of freedom of speech.

But this same trudeau has clamped down heavily on some protests.

Wether liberal or conservatives we have to think from their perspective and make them understand that Canadian Sikh citizens should protest about Canada, they have no right to protest for a land which they have left long back. But for that to happen we should focus on the asylum system and make the gora sahib understand that he made a mistake by considering punjabi terrorists as refugees eligible for asylum, our energies should be spent on making him understand the human rights violation done by these extremists.

this assumes that this is all an honest mistake and not institutional state policy.

"PM Modi signalled that the situation has escalated to a point where he must personally assert India’s stance to the global community, lest his silence be misinterpreted as weakness."
