India Canada Relations

I would say this trait has almost become genetic in Indians. It has never been a
collective community. It is always better them then us mentality. Someone once
asked me what would have happened if Indians had found north america , I answered
I doubt they would have made it into anything like it is today or even held the
territory for long?
I disagree. Chola empire and Vijayanagar empires are examples where Indians were expeditionary

The answer to that question is, look at SE Asia and western world TODAY.
We colonize, the same way Chinese and other dharmic civs colonize : we immigrate, keep our culture and make fusion with it in places where native population is too big ( thailand, cambodia etc) or become majority where native population isnt big enough ( Singapore).
Pretty much the SAME pattern is at play in the west today.

Why do we choose this method over the violent euro-barbarian colonisation method ? the answer is simple- those who win in peace dont want war and those who cant win in peace want to win via war.
The average gora isnt very hard working/survivalist oriented person, they have not been since pretty much forever. They cant settle on their own, they tried like half a dozen times in the new world before the native americans taught them how to grow potato and helped them survive (that is why we have thanksgiving). So they knew they cant compete with the native americans fair and square and resorted to violence. We outwork pretty much everyone wherver we go, along with the Chinese- so like the Chinese, we dont need to take over a land viciously and murder all its inhabitants to thrive.

Gosal must be his ancestral village/town name

sardar names are of format
<First Name> Singh <Village Name>

Example this late politician https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surjit_Singh_Barnala
Barnala is a town in Punjab

Their Gurus designed this format to be caste-mukt
nothing to do with Punjabis. Infact many Hindu surnames across India have village name appended at last.
Maharashtra , Gujaratis, Goans(Konkanis) especially parsis etc follow similar formats. Even among some people in NW India have similar pattern not just sikhs.
