I feel the same, desert tan color scheme can satisfy requirements of the Western Borders and Ladakh sectors while olive green in Kashmir and North East. An effective digital pattern camo is enough to blend in most of the areas.

I don't think this is true. What I think is that this is one of the Nothingburger news find daily. There are usually shit ton of agreements signed and only few materialize. Tata IFV may even be just a negotiating tactic thing against another vendor.
