Indian Economy

imagine loosing on something (massively) you are "world dominator" to foreign company apps.
another example we are far from a nationalist country as always portrayed by librandus.
Low IQ babus of GoI handicapped BHIM in initial days by not having inbuilt recharge facility for non BSNL networks.
Yet I use 99% transactions on BHIM only. And recently some cashback offers came to WhatsApp number.

BHIM would have never scaled up even if some more value add features are available, some of the best minds and funds have been backing phonepe.

some of the country's best spending data comes from phonepe's pulse, this data itself will have a lot of commercial value. there is no incentive for BHIM's maker NPCI to think the way phonepe does, thru BHIM gormint is fulfilling it's constitutional mandate.

south koreans hate communists to the core, will be fun to watch how this turns out. communist government arresting communist labor force for a core capitalist company. :bplease:
Calling the DMK Government as Communist is wrong lol. These guys going to bury that employee leader within a month.

TN Government machinery is ruthless when it comes to Industry-workers relation. Especially Automobile areas near Chennai. They will resolve it sooner

TN had good fortune with their political parties in way that both DMK and AIDMK had been pro-development and had competition against each other in creating more jobs and setting up industries in the state.
They are far from being communist in business and commerce.

Countries are waking up to the huge potential of medical tourism, hope we aren't left behind again

We are a popular destination for Medical Tourism. However, the poor work ethics and un-professional behavior of staff can be a big turn off as the South-East Asian countries fare much better in handling Western Tourist and in professional behavior.

Are there genuine grievances or it is the SoKo Slave Working Hours Culture bringing this?
I fear India will again miss the Industrialization wave going on because of "Workers Rights" Kool-Aid. Germany or Japan or some other European countries labor force could do those strikes and still get away because they have talent which is absent here. This makes companies just shift elsewhere.

Indian labor wants First world country's rights, facilities and perks but provides lower than third world country efficiency, productivity and work ethics!

They don't want to work on piece rates but on fixed salary and won't work even half the time and pass on time talking to each other or waste it on tea and loo breaks. The moment you put them in an environment where they have to be on their spot on production line for 8 hours, they want to rebel and put the company out of business.

I know about the usual rant but that doesn't seem to be much true. Because, we have IT coolies happily doing the thing and that's why our IT business thrives. I really think its not just a entitled Indian worker of 3rd world quality demanding 1st world quality rights. Because these East Asian companies have terrible much terrible work culture than India. If its due to that, like demanding further extended hours without no pay or no holidays or such, then their grievances are genuine.

I have seen the Work Culture in the Non-IT companies in India and in the Southeast Asia. You are living in disillusion that labor is exploited in South and South-East Asia and work in terrible conditions.

Even with lower GDP, those countries have improved their industries and work environment, and biggest contribution is from the Labor themselves who keep them up to date with latest advancement in the technology and equipment ensuring higher productivity and efficiency.

Compared to them, Indian labor does not want to learn new things. They want to keep operating the same old rickety machines for decades. When you try to bring on new equipment, they will try to sabotage the machines and will damage things here and there.
