We should be very careful with FTA with EU. Even if you sign the pact there is no reason to believe EU will play by the rules. They are notorious when it comes to bureaucracy. For example, they will say EU countries can freely import Basmati rice into EU. However, they will put a condition that imported rice should not have too much of some chemical during testing.


We should not give into their other stupid demands which is basically interfering in our country. We should not become a dumping ground for EU products. Our FTA's with Korea and Japan have been a disaster. I hope we thread carefully with any kind of trade agreements with EU and US.
We should not rely on trade with any white countries.
Expanding trade with latin america and Africa should be priority
 
 
They are under restructuring and if things still fails then Bajaj or CF Moto will buy the majority stake.

Austrian Govt has been actively trying to prevent Bajaj getting majority stakes in KTM. Even KTM's board is not allowing this to happen.

They can protect as long as possible. But EU going to shitter in couple of years. So it is up to KTM to save itself when valuation is there, otherwise Bajaj or CF Moto will buy for scrap. Same way how TVS acquire Norton for penny.

not only that their austria based production facility is hard to operate....many workers leave ktm already. if they want to cost effective production, they hv to sift this austria based manufacturing in india or china. workers salary is already higher in china than india. so its in their best interest to shift their manufacturing in india. even if they dont sell their shares to others.

Austria is much different than UK. UK has much more tolerance for Indians. Indian businesses are operating in Uk for long.
Bajaj tried to acquire majority in KTM but this was blocked by their Govt back in mid 2010s. They will try to get the ownership to BMW instead.​

No one shift entire line to China and India. Always an factory will be there in Home country. Only Britain will agree for this kind of hijacking. BMW source the components from India and assemble in Germany. That is how they maintain cost there.

other european countries is nearing to britian level in economy. if they cant maintain their price or their debt keep increasing (which is already near 2+ billions dollar)...they hv to shift their manufacturing out of austria. their high CC bikes is costly, thats why near 200000 bikes not sale in europe. after trump, its not easy to sell these high CC bikes in america also. no other market will absorb high CC bikes of KTM. austria manufacturing plant only makes high CC (above 390 cc) ktm bikes.
