The facility, set up under its subsidiary Sapigen Biologix, has a capacity to make eight billion doses of vaccines per annum and has been built to produce 10 different vaccines, Bharat Biotech said on Saturday.

The new plant, which was commissioned but is yet to be formally inaugurated, will create over 2,000 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect ones.
