The facility, set up under its subsidiary Sapigen Biologix, has a capacity to make eight billion doses of vaccines per annum and has been built to produce 10 different vaccines, Bharat Biotech said on Saturday.

The new plant, which was commissioned but is yet to be formally inaugurated, will create over 2,000 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect ones.

as long as they're not putting aluminum and mercury, or using aborted fetal cell lines, this should be ok

Mofos at Bihar, Chattisgarh, MP, West bengal were simply exists to sip out money lol. Not an single effort by their CMs to build large scale industries. Everything needs to be handed out by Central government.

Eastern, Central states needs to pull their balls up.

MP has had like 20 straight years of BJP rule and still looks like and by most metrics still is, a dump. Minor improvements in education and healthcare, but nothing substantial. Sad.

This forum has the uncanny ability to exclude UP from these lists when UP itself is not able to attract enough investments outside Noida. I wonder why (CM of the state is a popular figure)

It is a landlocked state. Unless there is improvement in connectivity to ports through rail or roads, there isn't much one can do. Industries always prefer to invest in regions which are near to the cost. Same is true in China but their government later on drove industries hinterland by building lot of connectivity. If DFC connects landlocked states they can attract investment on equal footing with coastal states.

Western UP and Central UP is surviving. Unfortunately eastern UP is cousin of Bihar and both of them were retarded in terms of Development.

MP have access to Gujarat Ports and Maharashtra ports. On paper Western MP should have better industrialization but they are also backwards.

Lack of initiative by MP government can be seen. Even the greatest thing is freebie they are giving to save their asses.

I'm sorry I didn't realize there was a correlation between education, healthcare, hygiene, other things, and industry

In MPs defence .. they have done great with increasing agricultural production.. They are one of the main reasons why annadatas that like to drive tractors to delhi can only apply political pressure and not economic/food security pressure.

one of the biggest wool these JNU marxist economists pulled over Indian public's eyes, is that they managed to conflate entire textile supplychain with RMG and domestic RMG production with RMG exports. so much so that we keep forgetting, domestic textile industry is worth 12 lakh crore and RMG is one component not all of it, and annual estimate of india's domestic RMG production for local consumption is so hard to find on the web.
