Indian Infrastructure & Discussion

They have network but the worst road quality for such a big network. Outside Mumbai and Samrudhi highway most of the roads are in dirt poor condition.
Even UP dehat nowadays have better roads.
Mumbai has the worst roads ever . Period. Even distant suburbs like Thane & Navi Mumbai have better roads but then it's such a low bar to begin with. Just for confirmation I mean roads not the flyovers or highways (though some of the build quality of flyovers are suspect too) but main , arterial & service roads.

In fact the roads outside Mumbai are much better. Haven't travelled on the Samriddhi Expressway but it should be good as it's new. How it will be in a decade from now will be the true test of its quality & maintenance like how the Pune Mumbai Expressway has stood the test of time.

Waste Generation & Composition:-
India produces approximately 62 million tons of waste every year, with over 75% of it not being processed. The majority of the waste generated includes organic waste, plastic, paper, glass, metal, and hazardous waste. According to a study by the Central Pollution Control Board, plastic waste accounts for almost 12% of the total waste generated in India.

Recycling Capacities:-
India’s recycling capacity is not commensurate with the levels of waste generated. It is estimated that only 20-25% of the total waste generated is recycled, with a significant portion of it being recycled in the informal sector. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, India recycles about 60% of the plastic waste generated in the country. However, the recycling industry is still in its nascent stages, and the majority of the waste recycling is done by informal sector players.

3:- e waste recycling plants = 295.

4:- paper recycling plant = 155.

Only regional and local authorities can take care of those roads. The state cannot indefinitely maintain those roads. Local and regional authorities must step and chip in and do their part as well.

Dude it is simple 4 poles with an cover. What you want to build? Bring granite from Kadappa district in AP. Ask Chola inspired sculptors from Tanjore and build either in assembly style or craving out the granite to bring pillars and roof.

Indian traditional houses have 12-15 feet height roof along with internal vent. Everyone can build even today, but current construction standard is 10 feet. More height more material more cost. It is matter of cost. Builders will not do this. Only people who wants individual house can build like this.

Tropical countries will have Mosquitos. Remove stagnant water and they will not come out.

We can honor ancestors, but build it in some auditorium, airports, Railway stations. If we dig into public spaces, too much cost. We don't even have maintenance.

Bhai, it's just a simple point that we can build nicer and better at slightly more cost than what we are doing now. I wasn't trying to start a debate

The "informal sector" here means leaving it to decompose in the environment.
