One more post on impeding cheen attack. Max range of type 055 (9000km) is at 12knots. So the fishing fleet will actually get here first

The Type 055 destroyers are powered by four gas turbines that generate a total of 150,000 horsepower. Each ship in this class has a cruising speed of 30 knots (56 kph) and can carry over 300 crew members on board.

whats the range at 30 knots lol

Let me call the captain and ask
ok bro. conference call me and ab raj in

i also have another question for the discussion

i also heard your refuelers max out at about 18knots so will type 055 speed up (thus requiring more refueling) or will refueler slow down (to max out 055 range) on the way to the naval blockade

MRSAM with what radar?

The Talwars cant support MFSTAR - from both a weight and power requirement standpoint, and I doubt there's enough space for a substantive MRSAM VLS
There has been talk of integrating MFSTAR-RA on the Talwar class. Also, I think there seems to be enough deck space where the single arm launcher is present.

Don't tell me you just opened Wikipedia and quoted this. Even the source from which this figure is quoted is long gone. But from archives we can see this...

...7 years old Jane's article where everything is pretty much speculative. For example see that 128 VLS; that's not accurate. Renhais have 112 VLS in grids of 64 and 48.
This US Naval Institute report from 2020 estimates it to be 18kt.

But even if assume it to be 5000nm only if 12kt then also this won't be that big of an issue. This is the typical Carrier Strike Group of PLA-N, again it's not my wild guess but rather from Japanese Naval Intelligence report on what they've seen so far.
1x Shandong
2x Renhai
2x Luyang III
1x Jiangkai II
1x Fuyu

The last one is a Fuyu Class ship. It's a 50,000t Fast Combat Support Ship - a class designed by USN specifically to support its CSGs.

China really nailed it with the Type 055 class. She looks so beautiful and is jam packed with UVLS. She is even capable of launching AShBM aside from providing fleet wide area aur defence.

The other ship class which I have high hopes for is the Italian Navy DDX. That thing looks so good.
