I thought this practice of RCs converting to evangelist churches was on the decline out here or is it ? What does the Cardinal Oswald Gracias have to say on this phenomenon ?

Usually this has been a huge bone of contention between the RC Church & the charismatic groups in Latin America & now increasingly in Asia and Africa.

It was never in decline.

And the vehicle is the same, these (((Charismatics))), they are Catholic lay-people( not priests ) but they do 1:1 copies of the protestant/evangelical dramas, people love this sht, therefore the Cardinal and every tier of priest tolerates it.

Btw the (((Charismatics))) then go full Evangelical, styling themselves as (((Pastor))) rather than the previous Brother and taking their idiot devotees with them to form a separate, protestant style Church

This is in so much demand that even the Priests now do all this, we had such a session at our church, the Priest was "laying hands" which is the one thing where they touch your forehead and you fall back.
Except this only worked with some women, not one single guy fell :bplease:
The priest in question was a normal one, he had no enthu to do all cringe theatrics this like your typical (((charismatic))) """brother""" does.

people bitch here about muh conversion, muh rice bag but your average Evangelical does more "team-killing" like this than actually converting random non-christians

Bhai, even if Yogiji can become the BAAP of Amit Shah ( and true baap, because Amit Shah is LITERALLY the most accomplished HM since Sardar Patel), its irrelevant.

Let me put this in star trek terms : your ship, the BJP, needs an engine. In Indian politics, that engine is UP. Granted, Indian politics is topsy-turvy, but the strongest rule of Indian poitics is: 'the road to dilli lies through UP'. Ie, you cannot be wiped out in UP and hope to rule successfully.

With that in mind, to use a star trek analogy, Yogi is our Jordie LaForge. The engine guy. It doesnt matter if Ricker or Picard or ENTIRE deck crew is dead, the man is ultimately based outta the engine room and he can't just take over the captain or #1's chair indefinitely. He is the ship's engine guy, so he will always remain the engine guy, because the engine is the alpha and omega of the ship. Sure, he may be good enough to sub in for a while, but as soon as ship returns to base, he goes back to being engine guy and new captains and commanders come in, even if they are 1% as good as Pickard and Riker, its still not La Forge, coz, HE IS ENGINE GUY !.

This is how i see Yogi. Without Yogi, UP is a sure-loss in vidhan sabha. Then the greens will have us by our balls again, because again, road to dilli is through UP and a roiling UP = bad news for Delhi = bad news for all of India and states gain more power at centre's expense, which USA is all about, fyi.
And with no Yogi in UP & no modi = BJP struggles to gain even half the seats in Lok Sabha.

Sorry, i don't care if entire BJP central staff drops dead, Yogi is our engine guy and he is therefore automatically disqualified for being captain or commander guy. Thats the bottomline for me.

I understand,so let Yogi rule in UP. But who do you think should be the successors to Modi-Shah(PM-HM Duo)? Because 2029 is probably Modi's last election.

At this point I'm too tired to keep ridiculing Taklu Haiwaan's hot takes. Apparently Kashmir & Iran's low TFR should put rest to stereotypes of high Muslim birth rates . If the TFR rates of individual states on the basis of religion shows Muslim TFR as being higher he'd start singing a different tune in much the same way as banias during my father's childhood would put their foot down on those huge ceiling to floor weighing scales to cheat on weight .

On the one hand they think female emancipation , increasing women's population in employment, it's contribution to the rise in GDP both nominal & per capita is a good thing apart from all that blah but refuse to identify it along with the expansion of nuclear families & adoption of the western model of economies & patterns of consumption with ever increasing inflation & wages not keeping up is responsible for falling TFRs

Also not jaishankar. Best ever MEA needs to be MEA. Especially since he is like one of the most experienced & credentialled diplomat, who is more needed at the help to deal the diplomatic hand of all these pressure tactics of US or make the right diplo moves against China, etc.

Besides, making a MEA guy who's an A++ career diplomat into a PM might just end up like the BJP version of Maun Singh Fail PM, who for all intents and purposes, was an excellent Finance Minister.

Dunno much about Biswa and the BJP political scenario of Assam and if he is Yogi of Assam or not - which is another critical state for India.
Assam is the 'murrica' of the North East. There is no two ways about it - You control Assam, you control the NE. You lose Assam and NE becomes a warzone, especially with Christoids sharpening their knives in the forest states.

IMO, geopolitically, UP is the #1 state of India, with Assam being #2 or #3, as no other state plays such a fundamental role in ensuring regional influence over other states as Assam does in its backyard. Only Bengal and Mah are the true contenders with Assam for the geopolitical fabric of india ( one due to extensive & porous border with beedieland the other being essentially the california of India and main source of $$).

He who rules India must also rule Assam+UP and at least one of Mah+WB and IIRC, our 'achhey din' started to tarnish a bit once BJP lost in Mah.

So the question arises whether names like Stalin, Hajiyar, Moitheen, Mohammad, Benjamin, John Ross, Wellington, Albert, Elizabeth, Roger .. etc.. are from Tamil cosmology or not.

1. Muslims have a popular saying: ba khuda diwana bash o ba Muhammad hoshiyar (have fun about Allah but be careful when it comes to Muhammad). This seems to be a very apt warning because in the belief system that is Islam, Allah has been replaced by his prophet. One cannot be a Muslim merely by believing in Allah as the only God; one has to believe in Muhammad also as the Last Prophet. 2. Indian National Congress made its own characteristic contribution to Muslim self righteousness. In the hope of winning the Muslims over to the nationalist platform, Congress leaders frowned upon all criticism of Islam and the Muslim rule in medieval India. Till the turn of the nineteenth century, Hindus by and large had never accepted Islam as a religion or Muslim rule as a native dispensation. The Congress leadership whitewashed both and, by means of sustained propaganda, made them acceptable to the Hindu intelligentsia.


3. Communists glorified Islam as a message of social equality and human brotherhood, while they denigrated Hinduism as a system based on class exploitation and caste oppression. M.N. Roy wrote a book, Role of Islam in History, in 1939 in which he hailed the advent of Islam in India as a liberating force. Islam, he said, had come to complete the social revolution which Buddhism had left unfinished but, like Buddhism, was frustrated by ‘reactionary’ Brahminism.


4. What is relevant here is that Islam continued to gain the lustre which Hinduism was losing fast. In due course, it became a crime called ‘communalism’ to say anything except laudatory about Islam. The Quran and the Prophet were winning fulsome praise on every public platform. The slogan of sarva-dharma-samabhava was becoming the national consensus. It never meant that Hinduism could not be criticized, even maligned and ridiculed. What it meant was that everyone was free to praise Islam as much as he pleased.


5. Emergency which Islam had imposed after its advent in India and which had caused resentment among Hindus for a long time, now stood fully sanctioned by the Hindu elite. All religions were equal. But Islam was more equal. Small wonder that Muslims acquired an unpre-cedented sense of self – righteousness; they had scored a triumph which their sword had failed to win for them in more than a thousand years. Now when Hindus voices are gaining prominence, the incidents like stone pelting, killings are on rise.


6. The average Muslim does not know what is written in his scriptures. He has the normal moral notions of his Hindu neighbours. The Muslim theologians and politicians exploit his ignorance and mobilize him on the streets by ascribing to “enemies of Islam”! Even if some one points out the source, he can be accused of quoting out of context , just like @NupurSharmaBJP ji.


7. This has been further aggravated by Sabka Vishwaas Jeeto Campaign; Ek Haath Computer, Ek Haath K0₹∆N.

I don't think it will reverse downfall of southern Hindu population(simply bcoz their women won't agree... ship sailed long ago)... OTOH would incentivize Muslim population explosion in these states... bcoz govts are now saying the same thing as Maulanas.

Greens priests will never allow their children to be given non-green names.
Chrischun priests allow, i mean they do in Manglore and al-Geralam
And there exists a Tamil actor called Vijay Joseph so it's very possible.

Also actual tamil( Senthil? ) only names must be very few, most of their names are the sanskrit/hindu names shared with rest of the country
