The reason for this is simple - its not because Yogi isnt competent for the PM's job (or not)- its because Yogi is **INDISPENSIBLE** in UP. Last general elections has shown UP is a shit-show and by far the strongest candidate in UP is our UP-ite Yogi. He needs to hold UP together for his lifetime and i cannot see BJP ever having a shot in hell if Yogi goes from UP because there is too much congoon+samajwadi power in UP still and one cannot lose UP horribly in both central and state elections and hope to rule India successfully.

Same was said for Hemwati Nandan bahuguna he was transforming UP, them came REDACTED amitabh bachhan out of bakchod bollywood, with his bol bachhan, and whole REDACTED janta of UP voted him.

I think Yogiji can be a pretty solid Home Minister,much better than motabhai. As for PM,Jaishankar would be a good successor to mudizi.

Congress getting screwed by small regional allies is a sight to behold. Wow, contesting just 85 seats out of 288 seats. Congress has a death wish in MH. I hope they are wiped out from MH once in for all. Bowing to non existent parties like AAP, CPI, SP in MH clearly shows they have given up on doing the hard work. They want power to come on a platter like in the old times. Congress must be fully weakened to a point where they cannot be able to win even 50 seats in general elections.

They are switching from the extreme of contesting without allies in Haryana to bending backwards for minor allies in MH. :bplease:

Even with making space for minor allies, they are cutting from their own seats, not from NCP and Uddhav Sena.

85 out of 288 is a very bad choice. If the alliance party underperformed they will be loosing the elections. Looks like not enough members ready to shell out money.
 
Yogi Adityanath should leave BJP and go to Gorakhpur. The selfish BJP leaders don't deserve such a leader. I am going to tell in my village that if they vote for BJP again then I am not their son I will educate them about selfishness of some third class bikau BJP leaders who have sold their soul to west for business indirectly helping Muslims under the table and make sure the BJP candidate doesn't win atleast from my village!

No, if your alliance buddy actually does well you can still lose the elections

If Uddhav Sena gets like 60-70 of the allotted 85 there is nothing stopping them from switching over.

OTOH if Ajit gets good tally and the fight is very close in both the alliances he may have a ghar-wapsi to his beloved uncle's party.

I would have prefered for Bhajipao to go solo, just like in UP but here we are

But in MH bajapa stuck as a single largest party but fall short of majority. They need to grab more seats from NCP dominating region like Vidarbha. Otherwise they need alliance to form Kichdi government which will be on whims and tantrums.
