She's too dumb to understand the difference too shameless to admit to her mistake too too ruthless to understand polite politics & too desperate to reach an accommodation without conceding any demands however justified they are .

In other words if this was BD , her innerwear would be on the streets & she'd be in some foreign capital

It's the desi version of "Democracy Khatre me Hai" from the West.

Samvidhan is added here because it's some emotional dog-whistle to the SCs.
As in Samvidhan "made by" BR Ambedkar, therefore changing samvidhan === insult to BR Ambedkar and ofc Reservation will be removed.

Thing is this scam has been spent now in the LS 2024 elections causing BJP dalit voters to switch to the sekoolar side, in the state elections there is no khatra to reservation and samvidhaan however

But smart enough to win wimem voters in tribal belt.
She is the true spearhead of beti bachao beti padhao, she covers for female demographic in all stages of life.
Other than that urban kolkata also votes in her favour.

With 30% muslim vote and some 5 % st votes she forms gormint comfortably.


In the future I don't see any chance for a non Mohammedan pandering parry to wining a election unless voting ID of Kangakdehis are revoked.

1. She won the tribal belt because the formidale RSS machinery they themselves created across the Jangalmahals (the tribal belt of WB where BJP did a clean sweep back in 2019) stands totally defanged because of infighting and large scale defections (who would remain in the party fold if the TMC reject LoP himself does not care about them?)

2. Bengal is a desperately poor state. Ignore Kolkata, Howrah and the suburbs and your are left with nothing but a glorified Bihar. So freebies work.

3. M votes are concentrated across some 12-13 odd LS constituencies (WB has a total 42 LS constituencies). If anything, the BJP actually performs quite well in some of those constituencies because of extreme polarization (Malda North and Raiganj with M populations of 45% and 42% respectively elected BJP MPs). This 'underperformance due to muh demographics' is a cope the WB BJPwallahs themselves came up with to hide their incompetence. Assam is demographically way more unfavorable, how do they keep doing so well there?

4. Ultimately, those 3 cornered fights across the urban consituencies of Kolkata, Howrah and the suburbs form her ultimate buffer. The LF candidates poll just about enough to ensure smooth victories for the Queen.

So who or what's preventing the BJP from bettering her offers ? They can do so now as their own party's in the centre.

The peacefuls aren't spread uniformly across WB . They're heavily concentrated in certain districts.

This is classic defeatist aka Dhimmi mentality at play here . Instead of behaving like we're 70% of the population there , we're behaving as if we're 30% . Why blame the peacefuls then for seizing the advantage .

Is there any articles or analyses on this phenomenon, y'day in the Economics thread when Shri @GaudaNaresh was giving an anecdote of how the fence jumping works on-ground he also said something similar where whatever village in question was fully polarized, greens behind TMC, hindus behind BJP.

Personal anecdotes aside, I still would not generalize the whole of WB border. Much of the international border is very tightly secured - it is not easy to fool the BSF jawans. Remember the Wire article I posted yesterday? That article itself details how families who have been (illegally) maintaining cross border marital ties find it increasingly difficult to cross over.

As far as the elections are concerned, they (the BJPwallahs) won Raiganj and Malda North because the M votes got divided between the TMC and the INC (the INC is quite active in the M dominated constituencies of North WB and do not cede an inch to the TMC workers in the run up to the polls unlike in the rest of the state where the party has completely surrendered its traditional votbank to the TMC) and the Hs vote en masse for the BJP.

Bhai, forget about Yogi at national stage, barring a miracle. He won't ever be the BJP candidate for Dilli.

Yogi needs to realize this, Yogi fans need to realize this.
The reason for this is simple - its not because Yogi isnt competent for the PM's job (or not)- its because Yogi is **INDISPENSIBLE** in UP. Last general elections has shown UP is a shit-show and by far the strongest candidate in UP is our UP-ite Yogi. He needs to hold UP together for his lifetime and i cannot see BJP ever having a shot in hell if Yogi goes from UP because there is too much congoon+samajwadi power in UP still and one cannot lose UP horribly in both central and state elections and hope to rule India successfully.

Yogi is best suited for the most important job from a civilizational POV : setting up the ram-krishna rajya in its historic heartland. Let him do it, i'd love to see Yogi be a 10th term CM of UP tbh.
