Is there some kind of "churning" happening in the political scene there?

Something like aap@Delhi scenario?

Or will this just blow over?

PK is trying to fill the vaccum after Nithishwa kicks the bucket.

Bihar BJP are the clowns of the highest order. Nitish joker brought draconian prohibition laws to protect so called dehaati woman vote bank from being beaten up by lowlives labourer husbands. It had a complete opposite effect, many women are involved in smuggling/distribution of alcohol & entire state machinery is in cohoots with them. 80% police dept is chasing alcohol mafia & law n order has deteriorated. Bihar has ideal climate to produce huge amount of beer for the entire world & Nitish clown has crippled entire Bihar for his socialist policies. Till all socialist morons are dead , Bihar will be cursed. In a way PK should be voted in mass numbers to teach a lesson to JDU-BJP jokers(But no jihadis should be voted in).

Gulag treatment is needed for such folks. It pains me (as a Bihari) to see Bihar being reduced to such a state . It's climate & soil quality is ideal for growing all kinds of cash crops rather than DrugsJaab's poisoned soil . It's people are hardworking & until 1990s Bihar had Industries. Laloo & sons & all his associates should be executed by a firing squad & so should all Samaajvaadi jokers . Massive industrialization only can save Bihar & all elections/parties should be banned for at least 30 years. Everyone should be forced to work for the benefit of future generations.

It's sad but Bihar is following the Bong/Mallu model.

Inside their home states the voting majority of people seem to be lazy and entitled for socialist schemes and gaarmint jaabs.
But migrating outside their home states or even country( for mallu ) they work hard, sometimes for peanuts just to build a better future.

One of the guys here says that all of East India suffers for WB's comedy status, it could be true, imagine Bihar being a home of garment production, Odisha for mineral/metal processing and shipping via Kolkata.

If PK does well in this elections it means the end of JD(U) which even otherwise is coming across as a spent force with Nitiswa as a liability.

Look at neighbouring Odisha. Naveen Patnaik who literally responsible for whatever transformation Odisha underwent was voted out coz of his succession plans & probably voter fatigue.

One may argue Bihar isn't Odisha but Odisha has managed better development indices under BJD than Bihar under Nitiswa & the latter has been around for 20 years now.

PK had long been angling for the short cut in politics whether National ( he failed to persuade the Gandhis to make him a top functionary & empower him ) so be turned to Nitiswa believing he had no heir apparent hence he stood a chance to be the successor only to be shown the door.

He's doing now what he ought to have done a decade ago - launched an outfit & reach out to people. His strategy would be to replace the JD(U) as a party. Long term he could well be successful . We'd find that out this elections.

However Bihar politics has always been about 1 major party vs the rest . Pre Laloo it was the Congress vs the rest & later in the Laloo era it has been RJD vs the rest. The equation changed only with Nitiswa entering the fray. Now it's more or less a given there are 3 poles in Bihar politics.

PK probably fancies himself as a CM in waiting . If he manages to replace the JD (U) he's still going to be 1 pole in Bihar politics. Let's see how's he going to balance all those lofty aims he swears to uphold in his public campaigns (much like Khujliwal did when pAAP was formed ) when he seeks to align with either pole which he'd have to do to come to power .

Nothing kattar about my beliefs just world weary . The moment IAC got converted to a political party - pAAP & Khujliwal & Sisodia along with others fell out with Anna , the cat was out of the bag .

Plus being in sales you learn to read body language. That guy had shifty eyes almost always a sign of an unreliable dishonest person or worse.

Both Khujliwal & pAAP didn't disappoint on that account. Btw - around the time of Anna Hazare & the IAC movement there were a lot of people closely affiliated with RSS in the forefront of the agitation. AH himself has good relations with the RSS top brass. So I wouldn't drag the CIA into this.

Moreover if it were a CIA funded movement we'd have seen evidence of it by now. CIA involvement if any came thru their fronts later , once pAAP won the elections , that too if at all . Modi's cutting Khujliwal & through him pAAP down to size is coz of his politics & possibly to prevent him resounding to overtures of the Americans.
