Indian Politics and Democracy

Yogi should've asked for the signature campaign of 10,000 muzla with their voter ID proof.
This Piece of Sh!t has a dargah dedicated to himself at Bahraich where the majority who visited the urs or even otherwise were - guess who ?!

British period

In the 19th century, the British administrators were bewildered at the Hindu veneration of Masud. William Henry Sleeman, the British Resident in Awadh, remarked :

Strange to say, Hindoos as well as Mahommedans make offerings to this shrine, and implore the favours of this military ruffian, whose only recorded merit consists of having destroyed a great many Hindoos in a wanton and unprovoked invasion of their territory. They say, that he did what he did against Hindoos in the conscientious discharge of his duties, and could not have done it without God's permission—that God must then have been angry with them for their transgressions, and used this man, and all the other Mahommedan invaders of their country, as instruments of his vengeance, and means to bring about his purposes: that is, the thinking portion of the Hindoos say this. The mass think that the old man must still have a good deal of interest in heaven, which he may be induced to exercise in their favour, by suitable offerings and personal applications to his shrine.

Russian orientalist Anna Suvorova notes that the rituals of the Masud's cult show some indigenous Hindu influence. The local Hindus revered Masud as "Bade Miyan" (Revered Boy), "Bale Pir" (Boy Saint), "Hathile Pir" (Obstinate Saint), "Pir Bahlim" and "Gajan Dulha".

Independent India

In the 2000s, the majority of the visitors to the annual fair held at Masud's dargah were Hindus . According to the local legends glorifying Salar Masud, his killer Suhaldev was a cruel king who oppressed his In these narratives, Masud is portrayed as a cruel ruler who ravaged Hindu women.

According to local Hindus, Chittora near modern Bahraich is the place where he died in a battle. Hindu nationalist organizations have characterized Suhaldev as a saviour of Hindus against the Muslim invader Masud (popularly known as "Ghazi Mian"). They have constructed a temple dedicated to Suhaldev in Chittora.

Good to see Zebu being kept alive in the memories of the original Paxtanis more than 3 centuries after he was buried in the very land he came to destroy.

Sort of poetic his burial place is named after the very king he tortured & killed. Would be poetic justice if that burial place itself is uprooted from the face of the earth.

Alhamdulillah!

You've got to admire the original Paxtanis. While one group will battle it out on the streets the other group will spend time on editorials crafting a narrative depending on the evidence he can assemble, the situation per se & other factors.

Since the topic is zebu whose brutalites & barbarism are too well documented to be denied, out comes sentimentalism harking back to Chattrapati Shahu Maharaj & his benevolent treatment of the Mughals & their monuments.

Stockholm Syndrome & other such considerations don't enter the narrative here . It's saam dam dand bhed or whatever it takes to pull wool over the eyes of the kuffar till such time as the momineen aren't in a position to claim back what's rightfully theirs.

Basically momineen will do what they're supposed to as commanded by their asmaani kitab but kuffar can't pay back momineen in the same coin.

Looks like the stage is being set for StarLink to launch in India. Backroom deal has been struck on broader issues . It's only the finer details which are being worked out.

DK bhaiya raises very interesting talking points about Nandan Nilekani's plans for doubling the GDP of the Indian economy in a decade but most of all he seems to be suggesting that Modi's 3rd time Sarkar seems to have run out of ideas , is on auto pilot , is more focused on survival & is in zero risk policy mode with Modi himself fatigued.

that's DK's lizard brain instinctually limiting itself to the ususal theme of "speaking truth to power", these idiots cannot even pretend to be useful to the society.

when we listen to the original speech, it was a sales pitch on behalf of India.

as if him joining koo would have made any difference to any outcomes, koo would gave still shutdown. and then the lament would have been "vishwacoolie couldn't even save koo".

You're not getting the point, are you? It's not about whether or not Koo would've shutdown or not. That's immaterial.

It's more about not patronizing and supporting social media platforms/ businesses built in your own country.

And what's this level of obsequious boot licking towards the American right and Trump going to get him anyway i.e grovelling beneath the same people who have no qualms in calling us streetshitting H1B sacmmers. If it's relaxation from reciprocal tariffs that he's hoping for, then good luck. Trump is a reactionary clown and doesn't give a shit about these emotional outreaches.

Perhaps it's time for him to act like a leader of a $4T economy, not some leader of a failed East African Bantu republic.

We tried that and failed. I already posted about it -

Ship has sailed for having a local alternative for Global Social platforms. This should have been done during late 2000s or mid 2010s. Now it is over for local players.

There is always a right time when you can enter the market and capture users, which is what Chinese did at the right time. Even when they had low GDP, they invested in mobiles, internet, apps and websites and developed alternatives for each and every US based app and platform.

Koo may have ultimately failed even if he created an account and posted there exclusively, or maybe not. We wouldn't know without him atleast trying.

Truth social is alive because Trump posts there almost exclusively and rarely on Twitter. Similar arguments can be made if Modi could've created an account there, posting there exclusively his mann ki baat or other stuff and brought his millions of followers.

Anyway, my point is that he doesn't need to go on that right wing MAGATurd wignat platform and ingratiate himself to the American right. Wouldn't be surprised if his replies already have some racist anti Indian memes. He used to have a Weibo account too, and later deleted it after the galwan thing.

as if anything he does is going to make a dent in any of the taunts he receives, then it is going to some other wishlist.
there is no end to this nonsense.

how the commies have effed up thought process of generations of Indian is still amusing to me, such a success story. any news or data point comes up, it's always rr in tangential direction.

it was hard before when MSM was the major player in discourse, now we have SM in the mix.
