Why is that a 15% voting block have disproportionate influence on policy making and 75% cannot even free their temples from state control? You might say those 15% vote en bloc. That may not be complete assessment. If that were the facts then even 20% of 75% would have influenced policy to their favour. But that is not case even in several clear majority govts from independence. That is not possible. When you attack a country like Bangladesh, others of same religion step in perceiving it as an attack on their Religion which includes these OPEC countries. Unless we stop our imports of oil completely by switching to EVs, it is hard.
