Indian Small Arms and Weapons

Back on DFI, JohnyBaba and LoneWarrior had this theory that ASTR guys got hands on some SIG Sauer P250/320 series TDP or CAD and that's how they came out of nowhere with such a refined design

Today the theories became true

within India, influence of form factor of handguns made domestically was webley, browning and now beretta, glock.

32 being primary non-prohibited bore, manufacturers will be looking for designs that fit around that bore. imagine desert eagle form factor for a 32 :ROFLMAO:

Growing up in areas where locally made handguns were ubiquitous, Browning Hi Power and the Beretta M9 were the standard templates.

ATAL was always "ATAL 9", chambered in 9x19mm for MilLE

Only later in development they realised it was futile to spend money on tooling when there's no surety of government contracts. And then ATAL 9 was rechamberd as ATAL 32

Don’t really mind it tbh if they can pull similar quality as of sig I say that’s a win win situation

So IA has Mk2, Mk3, Mk4 right? Mk4 on SF level and Inf. squads get Mk3/Mk2?
MK3 mostly I believe MK4 are in service with SF and will be replacing MK3s in INF

carl gustav will be turning in his grave, "how dare you call me Indian and small arms!!!". :cmegusta:
That guy doesn't feel anymore

After hearing Indians call it raaket laancher for decades, he has been thoroughly desensitized

Eventually everyone's going to get Mk-4 because it's now being produced here

For people really acquaintant with firearms, this line of yours can be truly nightmarish
😅
Those “experts” can cry me a river sig sauer except some cases have pretty good quality weapons

Wasn't India also producing AT4? Are they being inducted in squad level?

From 2014 onwards, every single model of SIG Sauer has been recalled atleast once. From P320 to the most recent Cross...every single one
Can confirm. Sig's from the SEK armoury have been recalled multiple times. Hence they are being replaced with the HK433 .300BLK. Sig's will be secondary now.
