Major Gaurav Aryas unit fought foreign terrorists it late 90s.

They even fought a battle in Saujiyan which was unknown completely.

I'm gonna ask a very simple question. Why does everything they do look so different from their army and airforce counterparts? And before you say so, no I'm not exaggerating. Everything down to the way they move looks very different from other indian SF units. Could be possible marcos has hired foreign instructors no? Not that I'm saying local guys aren't enough but taking help from those who have seen GWOT level combat is always a plus point to get ready for 21st century combat.. plus I don't think they would mind if paid good unless their native govt restrict them somehow.

No, that's because their interaction with army is very less on land warfare and they do regular training with foreign special forces. Marcos learns foreign tactics much faster because they are not in dilution that they are the best. They have more exposure to morden SF than their army and Air force counterparts.

Army is in a delusion that their tactics are world's best and they won't change to what western special forces do, that's why minimal to no learning from western SF even after so many joint excercise.

Even some of the best battalions aren't safe from the rot that is para sf right now.. what happened today is a textbook example of (not the first time but one of the many incidents which should had taught the army command multiple lessons) about why JSOC units like delta and team 6 operate with ISA and why SAS and SBS operate with units like SFSG.. why units like SASR and 2ND CDO battalion operate with SOER.. it's very obvious if you are understanding the patterns of ambushes.
