I liked his idea.. the only thing is don't name the top force as special group (yes the name sucks and also their is already one force named SG under R&AW). Aside from that need to make various regiments on the line of special forces support group, special operations engineer regiment, special forces Reconnaisance regiment to sport para special forces regiment and tier 1 AFSOD unit. Rangers is something we badly need. Can be trained on the line of RR with better kits (high cut helmets and proper chest rigs and ar15 type rifles, well not possible because the idea itself was destroyed the day ak203 was selected) all of this needs to be done under next decade. Again our generals lack vision. Fuck

No delta force is accepted but the only name they go by formally is 1st SFOD-D (and TF green among JSOC)

Whenever we mention how poorly equipped and dressed our Army SF looks we get reply back that:
They are the best!
They know what they are doing!
Their job is not to look best!

But these things seem to be applicable to our units only. Rest of the world has better dress, equipment along with knowing their job!

Good eye wear reduces your fatigue.

I'm not gonna sugar coat our SF. But rest of the world also has better SF than us. Like that guy said, the problem lies in base itself. Parachute Regiment is an infantry regiment which para sf is just part of.. until the day they don't get their own regiment, they are gonna be fucked by infantry airborne officers
