Biases are bound for own battalion.

I feel Kargil and Lanka were blunders for the whole Organisation.
Opening RL fire too soon has happened with 9SF also as narrated by Maj Deepak Iyer🤣. This might not be the reason of sending them back to Jodhpur considering the plethora of tactical mistakes all troops did in Kargil.
Plus Bhadauriya mentions the commander who called him up with his troops told him to avoid mentioning about the battalion's deployment to anyone, might be related to their immediate sending back post them capturing a peak

I wouldn't give them any flak since all commando battalions produced nearly similar results plus their was forte was only limited to deserts and they were being thrown around the place.

I am not giving any hate i am just stating facts bcoz the officer has very conveniently said and we were sent back but why😀..why were you sent back in between a war?

Lanka was a bigger failure for them..units like 9 started doing well after initial set back bcoz they were masters in small team concept…10 could never recover in Sri Lanka.

In kashmir they have lost some troops in last 2 decades and the officer again has conveniently shared about 90s.

Its all ok from my side coz this is what Army officers do..they are all biased for their unit.

I have done boxing with police officers.

They are a mixed bag of toughness.

I know that wasn't hate bhai.
True that they weren't in that small team concept like 9. He mentioned that 5 of his men went to the city to get a volleyball repaired and then never returned in Lanka and we all know how the Jaffna plan ended.
He also says how they killed 3 sikh li guys due to misidentification as they were not aware of anyone else in that area
Yes they have lost men in last two decades, I was just summarising what the Colonel said.

I was going to ask your comments on this one as You were always critical of 10 Para.What about their claims of 76-0 score in kashmir

I have no idea about 76 score ..if they could be specific about what year then i could dig up something.

Before surgical strikes specially in 90s Para commando battalions were respected but they were not a big deal like now.

Surgical strikes have really built up that reputation 10 fold.

Theres a incident where Para CDo couldnt complete a task and a senior officer came and debriefed them and said…whats the purpose of beard and long hair..my men could do the same in clean shave with their face exposed.

Again i will say i am not trying to be rude i just stated the exact reason they had to go to Jodhpur mid war.
