The problem in this pic is the bare plate carrier and helmet, its like they bought the kit for the exercise only.

The problem in this pic is the bare plate carrier and helmet, its like they bought the kit for the exercise only.

Its the new standard issue, they'll take time to get acustomed to it

If he opens the flaps full the mags can fall thus he folds them around (provides a level of retention) ... provides larger grip area makes it easier and faster to reload . Also you don't have to deal with the flaps as they are out of the way.
