SF units no longer enjoy the advantage they used to .......... in conventional warfare .
Imagine just infiltrating and meeting up in the assembly area just to get one shoted by a drone .
Pretty sure they will ,scary shit bhai scary fucking shit
Do you guys think fpv drones will be ever used by insurgents in Kashmir ? like three-four years from now ?
No matter how many podcasts they make to hunt talent, the policy makers, the real planners will be from UPSC, NDA, CDS, or some handful lateral intakes only.
SF will adapt. Thermal camo, counter-intel, heightened awareness, compact electronic disruptor kits. Ops will become slower before they speed up again, more elaborate with diverse assets. But as far as meeting an unconventional objective goes, SF will continue to have an advantage. Enemy recon can't scout 24/7 across all of the real estate hoping for a signature to show up.View attachment 15500

Yup, SF or SF type units will continue to play a significant role as long as humanity wages war/exist.SF will adapt. Bro iirc we had seen the pic of crossbows very recently posted in DFI. Don’t know whether it was Para or Marco i had seen the pic of crossbow in the last couple of years.Idk....an old school concept maybe, to take out a sentry quietly perhaps
Even the SAS had it in the 1980s but it's use faded out by the end of the decade, I guess our guys took it from there and continued using it untill they realized it's stupid

Btw was it true that the arrow tips had cyanide or just a myth
MARCOS did use them in Sri Lanka...cynaide tip arrows. And Paras might still be using them perhaps in NEBro iirc we had seen the pic of crossbows very recently posted in DFI. Don’t know whether it was Para or Marco i had seen the pic of crossbow in the last couple of years.
