From wating for terrorists to have changed of heart to leaving room intervention operation incomplete to Mike announcement (which made terrorists frustrated)...

The depth we all look for is a major lacking in most podcasts.

Most podcast are done by fanboys to glorify everything para SF does, through that they can increase viewership and get more money. Fanboys only want to see para SF soldier saying they are the best in the world. In India military forces are considered as holly cow, criticising military is considered as a sin.
Lack of accountability is clearly visible in our defence forces.

The most important equipment a good soldier need to conduct hostage rescue during day time is a rifle with good optics.
Clearly para SF have it.
What they don't have is good training. What they have in abundance is... EGO.
If anyone questions them they will say "we ran 100km with 40kg weight, can you do it!?"

If any civilian question them about their rifles, they will counter it by asking a counter question of "have you ever fired a weapon!? If not don't talk about it".

Mic announcements are done to give warning before assaulting in CT ops
Things change completely in hostage situation and has different motive
Terrorists will let them go only if the hostage helps them to escape or they have different objective or else that will simply kill the hostage atleast if aren't newly turned militant
In this case they were all well trained jihadis with such baseless demands

As far as I know a lot of sf soldiers are ex nsg , and since this incident took place in Kashmir,where a lot of sf units are already deployed a temporary team of ex nsg operatives could have been created and mobilized.
